- Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi is celebrating 40 years of his band with a brand new documentary and album. The documentary covers everything from his rise to fame, his fallout with Richie Sambora and interviews with Jon himself. Jon joins us live in the studio today to tell us what it was like to reflect on his 40-year career and reveal an update on the future of touring, following his recovery from vocal surgery.

Jon bon giovvai is 100 percent new Jersey and his uncle knew some people in new Jersey so he always had protection and was looked after. Skid row fans don't like him very much because of Sebastian Bachs exit from the band and Sebastian Bach gag. Sebastian Bach would not stop talking about being kicked out bon Jovi.

He lived his life to the full and gave the world such joy with his great music. Thank you for that. We were very privaleged to experience yr talent in our era. Bands like yrs will never happened again. How sad but how lucky were we❤😊

The energy of a Bon Jovi concert! I've been to several and I can just say...high vibrational FUN! And that boy could truly sing. My daughter, who is now 18 would dance as a baby whenever Bon Jovi came on, she just loved them. I had hoped to bring her to see them. It breaks my heart for him to be going through this vocal cord injury, I can hear it even in him talking. But the body is a miraculous thing, we can heal if we believe we can. We should all send him healing thoughts and prayers for recovery. 🙏💚✨️
Oh wow! My story is almost identical to yours. The daughter, the live show, the energy. I know I'm much older than you but we had a similar Bon Jovi journey. I saw them 7 times in the late 80''s-early 90's. They were that good lol

@@antoniocalibur3481 Both are great. "Slippery" is perhaps more anthemic, and rocking. "New Jersey" might be more consistent though. Could go either way. Bon Jovi were at the top of the radio rock sound the 80s.

I love Bon Jovi, they were the first rock band I was introduced too back in the 80s.
My first ever gig 2001 bon jovi in Cardiff millennium stadium was absolutely blown away. Not been a fan of the newer stuff tho. But it amazes me how much just like us he actually is salt of the earth bloke and bon jovis music will always be legendary 🤘🏻🤘🏻.
I seen him in SanJose and it was the best concert I ever truly seen. He played and played and was simply awesome. He truly loves what he does…. And loves his fans

I saw Bon Jovi in concert in 2013, and it was incredible! I’d see them again in a heartbeat, regardless of the sound 💖. It was my first cassette, and I’ll never forget it.

It melts me to hear the testimony from so many people who were affected by this band I've loved my whole life. That girl who tattooed the sigs from the band the night she met them just broke me. I was made fun of in 8th grade bc my favorite bands were Bon Jovi and Duran Duran. I remember one time when I was in a van going to an away game and was told 'no one will remember either of them in 5 years'. Both are now in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame.

I’m 53 and was lucky enough to experience the Slippery when wet tour. I saw 2 nights. It was unforgettable. One of the best concerts I saw.

Jon Bon Jovi, a rock mega superstar and to top it all, such a really nice bloke!! One of my regrets now, as I get older, is never seeing Bon Jovi (and also sadly, Roxette), live in concert. There's so much more we should all do to get everything out of life it offers... It's My Life, it's now or never! ❤... (Listen to your Heart) ❤

Everyone keeps asking Jon about his "falling out" with Richie. How much clearer can he make it that they never had one?? They watched the first few episodes of the documentary together at Jon's house. You dont get together with someone you have a falling out with.

Just finished the documentary and I want to apologize to Bon Jovi for bad comments about how bad his voice was later in the years and why Richie left and how we want Richie back. Wow, the band went thru a lot over the 40 year journey, selling out stadiums and arenas and how much he contributed to the world. Whole new respect. Always love the band from the 80s and their songwriting skills. Great series and thank you for the memories guys.

Another great interview with Jon. He always comes across genuine and cool. Music is a little lighter these past few years but that is understandable. I do hope for another tour...Bon Jovi live is not a concert, it is a religious experience. Please keep Phil X and leave Sambora retired. Thank goodness for Metallica making these reflection documents popular...with that said, can't wait for the documentary.
