- Got my wife with me on this video. This is her first time operating the super split. She enjoyed it. We’re using our Super splitter, converted corn elevator, and ibc totes.

A wood hounds wife is more valuable than they realize.
My wife is not much on helping with my firewood operation.
But she is my biggest supporter of everything I do.

Hi Jacob and Krista, do you figure that your totes hold a face cord loose the pieces you place upright and fill it in on top? Is most of your wood hardwood? What are you selling your wood for? I am from northern Minnesota and it is hard to get 65-75.00/ face cord.Just checking to see what other areas are charging. You guys take care.
Hey. Thanks for watching & commenting! The loose & heaped over totes like in this video, I call them 1/4 cords. I’ve stacked it out to check it. I will sometimes stacked 2 rows in a tote and heap it over the rails about 10” or so & that will be a rick/face cord. I’m getting $90/Rick this year. Thanks again!

Having the wife work with ya in the wood yard is about as good as it gets . Took Karen quite a while before she would be in the videos or even talk in them an now she is in most every video .
