At 24 minutes when you guessed Sweden instead of Finland I can't totally blame you since we actually write our street names in both swedish and finnish just to confuse GeoGuesser players.
I can already imagine the conversations people had allllll the way back when they named the streets:
“Pray tell, why wouldst thou name these streets in both languages? It is most perplexing”
“Thou wouldst not get it. Await the coming of the internet.”
“The what?”

Village with suffix -"owo" - rather northern Poland
Village with suffix -"ice" - rather southern Poland
Huh, we have the same in Russia, but with "vka" instead of "ice".
The reason is because the steppes were conquered and settled much later than our core lands, hence the newer naming style.
What's the reason for Poland? I can't see a pettern. Can you explain?

@@slaviansky Frankly dont know. In Poland we don't have bigger ethnic differences and if are any - north western Poland (Greater Poland) is closer to southern Poland (Lesser Poalnd) than nort eastern (Masovia)
Only what comes to mind is that southern Poland was once part of Greater Moravia for some time. Mayby it is the case because some cities in Czech republic have same suffix (Budiejovice)
Or mayby its White Croats who live there before thieir migration to the south.

Playing eu4 genuinely does help as it gives at least some background about names of provinces, terrain and historical knowledge which surprisingly helps more that you’d think
I'm using this video to narrow down Red Hawk's location. From previous videos, I've got big red Xs drawn over France and Ireland, and a 3000km in diameter circle around the former Warsaw Pact.
For real though, where is he from? I am usually pretty good at figuring out peoples accents, but Hawks is so subtle I have no idea

For future information, when you guessed Serbia at 20:54, they write in Cyrillic so if you see signs in the Latin alphabet and you think it's a balkan nation, Croatia would definitely be better

Also, when you were guessing north of Spain, the sign you were looking at said "Galicia", which is a releasable vassal in EU4, just north of Portugal. And that's where the answer was.
I lost a Geography Bee in Middle School because while I knew world geography extremely well I didn't know any of the rivers in stuff in my home state aside from the one I lived on.

Love the variety of games. Love the EU4 vids but love how you switch it up from time to time.
Holy crap I didn't realize how intense geoguesser is. That's actually really clever the way they've set it up so that the timer doesn't start until at least one person places a guess. You have to judge whether to take your time and potentially give your opponent enough time to out guess you, or do a quick guess if you're relatively sure and basically just hope the other player has no clue.
I laughed when you were on the trail! Moving your hand through the air to clear the branches, perfect timing with the clicking too lol!

Also I love how the absolute curbstomp off that second game gave you nearly as many points as the 8 rounder of a first game.

Few seconds in, general tip, anytime you see yellow lines instead of white on the ends of the roads, its south africa. Dotted white lines are usually a scandinavian country (except finland and estonia). Also gold is at 675

Quick Nordic Language Guide:
Dots over A or O - Swedish unless also listed in Finnish, in which case it's Finland
Æ, Ø, Å = Norwegian or Danish
Icelandic uses even weirder letters
Finnish is also way different, so you should be able to tell.
also birch = finland unless you're certain it's somewhere else
