1:06:00 The best way to approach that is to explain what else bmx is. I got into BMX because I saw Dave Mirra and wanted to emulate what he did on my cheap toys r us bike. I found a real bike shop and my mom asked for a video and they gave her best of road fools 3. That bridged the gap between what I thought BMX was (Dave Mirra X Games etx) to what BMX really was. I feel like we need to create that bridge some how between the olympics and what real BMX is.

Heck Yeah! I grew up around the same scene. That was the best era of BMX. It also helped that Clint and Derrick Gerard were local apes that I got to shred with.

You want to go to bmx jams (like swamp fest) and hang with your homies, get dirty and have a shit ton of fun, sweet, go do that. You can be a bmx park rider, racer, trail rider, street rider, or all the above if you want! Me personally, I love to race, I spend most of my time training to see how fast I can become on my bike, but I still love riding trails, riding park and even riding street. I love watching Trey do abnormal lines and weird shit on his bike, it’s awesome, I love watching guys like Logan Martin do 5 tricks at once, and I love watching Brad Simms bunny hop over buildings😂 Bmx is whatever you make it, it doesn’t have to be a certain way.
