How do you take care of your extensions I get clip in extensions and i have for years and they all knot together and like will kinda stick together as chunks like they're trying to dread they just don't a natural movement like they do when i first get them they get dry a stiff. ill brush them then 5 minutes later i move around and they go the same. this at at about a month or two old too.
you need to wash them with a clarifying shampoo (neutrogena has a really good one) and then deep condition them. Like, let the conditioner sit over night or (this is weird but them in conditioner and a zip lock back a microwave them for 30 sec. intervals) the heat will lock in the conditioner. Then they'll be clean and really super soft.
Kay-lee Pearce don't try to make me sound crazy. It's legitimate. I wouldn't suggest for someone to do something that I haven't done myself. I've been wearing extensions for years. The only potential problem I could see with her using this method is dependent on what metal the clips are made of and putting them in the microwave.
Do you still wash your hair the same as when you don't have extensions in? I only wash my hair every 4 days just wondering if that would be okay with glue in extensions.

That's a great way to thin your hair out and get bald spots. I cannot stress this enough. Use a hair protector PRIOR to applying. The glue will FUCK your hair up, and it'll take forever to fix.
