I just can't get enough of the Sam/Bucky bromance and I don't want it to end. I can't remember the last time I watched something where the actors had as much chemistry as Mackie and Stan.
I like how Bucky easily opens up to Sam and not at his therapist. The writers conveyed Sam's therapeutic skills that was first showed in Captain America: The Winter Sold ier when he once led a support group.
A small detailing you might have missed That when Bucky says I am right handed and I always not think of left hand immediately It is not just for a joke We can observe from captain America the winter Soldier, civil war, and falcon and the winter Soldier that whenever he is winter Soldier (I mean when he was being controlled) he always uses left hand, but whenever he is Bucky ( I mean when he is himself and not being controlled by anyone) he uses right hand most of the times. I think it is a quite good detailing marvel had put into this character. You can also check this in few scenes from these movies and show
I love how when John rips off Sam's wings, it feels... painful. As if he was ripping off wings that were physically attached to Sam instead of to his suit
I actually winced at that scene because it seems like it ripped off what made him his character.

Bucky didn't like people beside Steve call him Bucky in the first episodes, but now he introduces himself as Bucky to Sarah, that means he's becoming more friendly.
His suite doesn’t have white on it, and white symbolizes balance, harmony and peace. No white means lack thereof. Red means bloodthirst, and courage. Blue means pride and good fortune. How lucky of a man is he? He may use it inappropriately, but it’s luck nonetheless.
honestly the amount of character development in this one episode was amazing and it really didnt come off as forced either. marvel hits it out of the park again

Sam's nephews playing with the shield might also mean that no matter how bad things happened to Isaiah, the shield might still be an uniting symbol for new generations.
It also recalls the end of Captain America: The First Avenger in which the kids are playing with a garbage can lid painted to resemble the shield as a makeshift toy.
I don't like though how what happened to Isaiah was no different really to what HYDRA did to Bucky and yet they refuse to acknowledge Bucky was a victim. Because he's white I guess.

I think why Sam's talk to Bucky really went great is because Sam's previous job way back Winter Soldier was counseling in the veterans' affairs as he told Walker and Lemar back in episode 4

I think Sam's remark about "avenging" is a subtle affirmation to Bucky and the audience that he is an Avenger now, whether he realizes or not. Bucky, White Wolf, whatever he chooses to call himself, he is appreciated and welcomed regardless of his past. Even by common people in a dock town. This episode really shows that Sam is the friend and confidant that Bucky needs, and it's so wholesome and real.

The Isaiah Bradley scene, never felt woke or forced because, it was organic. That is why it works. There were seeds planted early that grew into this powerful scene.
I imagine that if the VFX people were watching this, they'd say something like "of course we gotta pay attention to the smallest detail here. Some mad lads are gonna be watching the movie in 0.25x speed to catch all of our mistakes."

Unlike many other films and shows that just go right to a black screen like the phone isn't even on. We actually see Sam/Anthony actually calling someone.

There are far better and far more nuanced ways of including discussion about racial politics. They basically said their intended message word for word rather than letting you draw upon that conclusion for yourself. I didn't know until after watching this video that the reason Bucky smiled when he saw Sam's nephews playing with shield was because he was relieved that his friend's legacy was secure and I almost cried happy tears because of his character development
Ok, everything is great, but can we take out a minute to appreciate Wyatt Russell's ACTING? The emotions he displayed while fighting Bucky and Sam for the shield, oh my god. "WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME DO THIS?" I felt the pain in that line for Walker. Phenomenal job by every actor, especially Russell.
"You built me. I AM Captain America." That was a powerful moment. Walker stood there and told them to their faces that he is the Captain America that the government created,the one the government wanted. Not THE Captain America, but THEIR Captain America. Their monster.

Had Steve survived the war they would have done the same thing to him. The only reason Steve was spared that fate is because he was on ice until modern times. Making the story such that the government ONLY did it because "hurr durr filthy black man" is sheer insanity and the epitome of wokeism and spits in the face of real life history where blacks were routinely awarded the highest honors even in world war 2, let alone the korean war. Sam's nephews playing with the shield might also mean that no matter how bad things happened to Isaiah, the shield might still be an uniting symbol for new generations.

I think Sam's remark about "avenging" is a subtle affirmation to Bucky and the audience that he is an Avenger now, whether he realizes or not. Bucky, White Wolf, whatever he chooses to call himself, he is appreciated and welcomed regardless of his past. Even by common people in a dock town. This episode really shows that Sam is the friend and confidant that Bucky needs, and it's so wholesome and real.

And in a lot of places the race thing is almost gone, atleast where I live. In conclusion, they just weren't ready to accept it and it felt like it was forced onto them
There are far better and far more nuanced ways of including discussion about racial politics. They basically said their intended message word for word rather than letting you draw upon that conclusion for yourself. It's the most in-your-face way of discussing these kinds of things and also the most obnoxious.

Had Steve survived the war they would have done the same thing to him. The only reason Steve was spared that fate is because he was on ice until modern times. Making the story such that the government ONLY did it because "hurr durr filthy black man" is sheer insanity and the epitome of wokeism and spits in the face of real life history where blacks were routinely awarded the highest honors even in world war 2, let alone the korean war. Sure you could make an argument that they wouldn't propagandize him like they did with Steve, but that's the furthest you could go without dipping into delusional "murica hates black people" wokeism.

in iron man 2, in the senate scene, hammer accuses iron man of “wielding a sword but calling it a shield.” or something along those lines. this is exactly what john walker was accused of, using what’s supposed to be a symbol of defense for murder. interesting how they drew that parallel
