Pedro Pascal is excellent as the Mandalorian. Mando barely speaks and his face isn't shown yet he's still a compelling main character. A lot of actors would never be able to it off.

What makes him compelling? He looks small on screen and he is completely incompetent. He gets his ass kicked and saved in both episodes. Also, both episodes have a montage lmfao. And the Pilot had no hook.
I thought most people realized his awesomeness after his single season portrayal of Oberyn Martell in Game of Thrones.
@@Lord_Alimdor but thats the beauty of it. no one is that skilled, is not like he is a magical creature, he is still a human equivalent, it's just that in all is encounters he knows how to deal with it, even if it's not alone. also, you need to remember that what he deals with the first episode is a thing no other bounty hunter was able of.
He has the most satisfying voice ever.

@@user-tz9pl7dt1t Favreau kickstarted the MCU with Iron Man and was responsible for casting RDJ as Tony Stark.Not to mention he worked as a producer on many Phase 1 MCU movies.
He also worked on the "Clone Wars" with Filoni and more important, he´s a huge Star Wars nerd.
I´ll rather have somebody like him and Filoni in charge,than some hacks like Abrams & Johnson.
I believe he has gone on record as saying Iron Man 1 and 2 kinda stressed him out, and when it comes to franchises like Marvel or Star Wars, he prefers to do this show, since it is not as stressful.
Pedro learnt his lesson and wore a helmet this time...

Jungle Book on the other hand is actually not just a complete copy paste and its very entertaining.

Pedro Pascal’s charisma is off the charts.
That's an actor who really understands his character. "How he hides himself within the armor, and what he hides from himself". That's why he's so compelling without even showing his face

In just three episodes, this show already feels more authentically Star Wars than the recent movies that have come out. I think it’s because the people behind it are doing their research and actually catering to what the fans want instead of just making more movies for the sake of doing so.

Well the people who make the trilogy are also fans. JJ has always talked about how much of a Star Wars fan he is before he took the job. And there are fans, like me, who love the new trilogy. You can be a fan of Star Wars and still not like the trilogy. And you can be a fan and like the trilogy. No one's fandom should be put in question just because of what kind of star wars they like or don't like.
Cliff Robinson I’m sorry you like the trilogy where Luke and Han are old washed-up lazy fucks who don’t give a damn about anyone but themselves. Disney did well with Rogue One and the Mandalorian, but they messed up Han and Luke who would’ve never done what we see in the sequels based off of what we see them do and accomplish in the Original Trilogy. The sequels suck and I hate them. Lots of people do. You can like them and still be a Star Wars fan, sure I guess. It just doesn’t make sense to us that you like Luke and Han not doing anything worth while all for the sake of the “nEw GeNeRaTiOn” taking everything from them all while SJW agendas and identity politics are being shoved down our throats. No thank you

Jon Favreau knows how to pick his actors. He brought us Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark who is irreplaceable and now Pedro as Mando. Definitely needs to be recognized more!

Such a great actor, Pedro Pascal really made Din Djarin come to life, absolutely perfect for the role and I can't see anyone else as the character. Can't wait for Season 3, it's going to be amazing.
Pedro has one of the hardest jobs with this series. With the Helmet on, it removes the facial expression of his acting skills that he would normally use to portray his character,. So he has to put over 100% of his effort into the body language & voice work , to be able to transfer the emotions we can't see from his face. So far it has been awesome, like the scene when he cashes in the bounties.
Pedro Pascal is one of the coolest dudes alive.

Remember, it was Favreau who ushered in the MCU with the greatness that was Iron Man, changing the cinematic landscape forever, not to mention all but saving Marvel. If the first two episodes are any indication, he just might do the same with Star Wars.

This show is the first thing since ROTJ that really, truly feels like Star Wars. No recycled nostalgic plotlines, no over-the-top CGI, no ham fisted social commentary, no stupid millennial jokes...just a solid space western with a kickass protagonist.

Omg this gives me chills! I was so excited when I found out who played the Mandolorian. His voice in and out of the helmet is perfect. Dyn Jarin without the helmet everyone! At least Oberon learned his lesson and significantly leveled up his fighting and weapons skills. This show is so good.
