    I’ve always had this question. How do we find these planets and galaxies, etc., and how do we know their composition?

      @srinidhisoundarrajan5884 2 ปีที่แล้ว +38

      So, My answer might not be fully correct, but the Hubble Telescope was made for this purpose... It gave the scientists the most probable size of the universe and the galaxies

    • @SuperGoose42
      @SuperGoose42 2 ปีที่แล้ว +26

      I have an extremely rudimentary understanding of this, but you can identify the composition of a material based on the way it reflects light, and the Hubble telescope can pick up on this

      There are two ways as far as I know. 1) is where they look at a star and notice a small dark dot, which is a planet. 2) is where they also look at a star, and if the planet is in front of the star, the light around will be more red-ish, and if it’s behind or besides the star, the light turns blue

      Space is endless, there may not be another living civilization out there, but th possibilities are endless, but in dimensions, most contain humans living normally, but others have much different outcomes, the humans got wiped out by the very meator that killed the dinosaurs, everything is in 1 galaxy, and humans never existing in the first place are all possibilities of the endless dimensions and timelines that were created 1 day before days were even a thing.

    My thoughts on these planets:
    10. Those are some wide rings.
    9. Don’t ask how this planet is orbiting its host star.
    8. _I can’t see anything…_
    7. WOOO! Im gonna be rich!
    6. I would call that a Hot Ice planet.
    5. That’s a bit too close for comfort.
    4. So, does this mean that you can live on this planet?
    3. This must be where they filmed, “Water world”
    2. And I thought that Venus’ retrograde rotation was strange.
    1. Ah, what a perfectly normal day here. The sun is shining… wait, why are there three suns? AND WHATS THAT THING IN THE SKY?!

    That's a cool thumbnail, sure hope it wasn't used for the OST art of a series of fan-made songs (referred to as "fantracks" by the community) for the game "Friday Night Funkin'" based off of another mod called "Vs. Dave and Bambi" that for the most part are well known for insane BPM swaps, with the fastest of the 4 (so far) with a known BPM being in the hundreds of quintillions, with one with an unknown BPM more than likely being faster, and another 2 songs in the series TBA, where the creator of the fantracks has stating the "bad ending" of the second one in the series known as "bewilderment" will most likely be inspired by the song "scattered faith", that in of itself is a spinoff of a much more popular song known as "galaxy collapse"
    yes, I did wrote a paragraph explaining the spaci songs

      for a planet to be a lot bigger than jupiter, it has to be a lot less dense than jupiter, planets with a lot more mass than jupiter still have around the same radius because theyre compressed by their own gravity
