This augment needs a tweak because you can get completely screwed by items. I love the randomness of "playing with what you're given", but for a prismatic to be completely out of your control there's not any skill expression in a lot of cases. I played it twice and ended up getting 5 Collectors and just lost the game because I couldn't find any useful items for my team, and another time got 4 randuins, Spirit Visage, and Everfrost, auto-losing the game due to not being able to deal any damage. Giving 1 reforger per stage would help a lot, or more generously 1 reforger every time an item is transformed would mostly alleviate it. Alternatively items could transform into their most closely associated item type(i.e. tank item, carry item, with maybe some like DD/Triforce in both categories). I love the concept but would really like some modicum of control given to the player.
Regarding RFC. I just thought that maybe some kind of single target on-hit damage scaling with range every or every other attack, as an homage to the charged auto attacks in League, would be a good change

What about something similar to sniper's focus but instead of a bonus damage dealt based on distance, just give x% damage based on range. At the very least, melees get 2*x% (2range) or 6*x% on deadeyes. This would also work since these ranged units love asp. Just make the bonus damage unique (eg, triple rfc with this effect will only grant the bonus damage once but still gives the extra range)
I've had people rage at me for standing in portals like sump or stillwater but I like the different gaming experiences. I wanna be proficient at all the portals and sometimes it's annoying to get the triple prismatic one every game or noxus flag...
In all the sets with augments I have never thought "all these augments are terrible, why am I playing this game", except like 2-3 times with Hero Augments when being to greedy with rerolling instead of taking a safe option. That said, I was hyped for Legends this set and have only grewn a little weary because of the TF and now Ezreal debacle.
I was fairly happy with the state of augments at launch, but was immediately wary of seeing sweeping buffs to them in the next patch, because while I didn't predict any given result, I was immediately concerned that it would lead to games where the majority of people are all taking the same options. Then my worst nightmare immediately came true, and even in the aftermath of Draven, the metagame feels rigidly defined around the consistency offered by Ezreal's first and second augments.
What that one commenter said about almost losing to Ionia, I was the Ionia with yas 2 and kaisa, just generic cap at 8. I beat a Gwen 3 and a Nasus 3 on different boards same match. I will say Ionia 2 stars feel overtuned compared to most comps. I was running 6 Ionia with 4 challengers.
Kaisa is too strong atm too, also the fact that its pretty easy to have perfect synergy either 6 jonias 4 challengers or 6 challengers 3 jonias and it works everytime.
i saw a game a yesterday of a 3 star ekko with 2 HOG's and 1 GG and he was getting buffed by 2 champs each holding 3 cones, it healed to full after every hit it was bonkers to watch. he also had a 4 star T-hex
Worst augment currently this with Pandora's items is just absolutely terrible . Which shows how much of a nightmare being a dev for tft must be . There's so many variables .
Can we set the legends to be random every game? I would really want to try all of them but every time I start the game I just forget about changing them
If you mean player damage, it's: Stage Damage + Damage for enemy units that survived. Stage damage is based on your current stage and it increases a little each stage. I don't know them all by heart, but stages 1 and 2 have 0 base damage, stage 3 is 2 base damage, stage 7 is 15 base damage and stage 8 is an instakill (it's like 130 base damage or something like that). The damage for surviving enemy units is 2 per unit for the first 4 units, and after that is 1 damage per unit. Summoned units don't count (zz'rot minion, target dummy, void summon, Heimer's turret, etc.). The minimum damage you can take is 1, so if you ever were to take 0 damage (for example, if during Stage 2 you lose a round and the only surviving enemy unit is a zz'rot minion) you take 1 damage instead. I'm not sure how damage works for Double Up; the concept is the same but there's some other rules. Generally speaking, losses cost half as much HP (because two players share HP so you effectively have 50 HP per player), but I don't know if you take exactly half damage from losses or how rounding works for decimal value HP losses. Hyper Roll is a lot simpler because you just take the base stage damage, period. You'll probably find more details if you google "TFT player damage", but that's the gist of it.

My only expetion is the portal where all the units get +150 health. I think it isn't enough of a warp to the game to impact how to play.
