@@joehebert8070 we definitely plan to separate the beds once the kids have their own room or find it too hard to go up and down on the ladder. You can also check out stores for toddler beds that are low to the floor or elevated ones with a little desk or space for a tiny play area underneath as well. 😊 I’m considering getting Eli something like that so that I can transfer Eden into the crib and continue to use it as a toddler bed.
I hope you and your family had a wonderful Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. My name is Kelly I am Joe's wife. I am a foster mom getting a toddler soon what do you recommend for the mattress a George waterproof is it firm or soft do you like the? Bunk bed? What is your opinion about bunk beds
Thank you so much! I hope you and your family had an amazing Christmas as well. I do like our bunk beds, but it’s for the older kids (ages 8-11 yrs old). I like that it’s a pretty big bunk bed that can also separate so it can become two beds. The only thing I dislike about bunk beds is that the height and weight of the child can affect how comfortable it is for them to go up and down on the ladder. For the younger kids, Eli still sleeps in the crib shown in the video. The mattress in the crib is from Safety 1st, and it is like a medium firm but it’s definitely on the more firm side. I normally put the George waterproof mattress liner and then his bed sheets over the mattress. The only con I have, is that the liner is plastic and the mattress also has like a plastic lining so it makes a crinkling noise sometimes. Goodluck with fostering and praying the little one enjoys being apart of your family 🤍🫶🏽
Hey y’all!! I had to reload this video has the previous one had a copyright issue. I hope you don’t mind the late Vlogmas videos 🤍😅
Thank you so much for all your advice. I appreciate that. Are you ever going to separate the bunk bed or keep it as a bunk bed?

If you have a change in the future can you make a video of their mattresses and mattress protectors?
Thank you so much. Is there a way you could make a video of your toddler mattress?
@@Whatmakesherglow Are you going to make a video of dismantling the bunk bed? Lol
