Awesome footage awesome, the operator’s doing a good job. How many tons or were loaded, no boring music to listen to just the sound of the wheel loader and material being hitting the trucks bed, keep up the good work
Ran one for 5 years and loved it! Visibility was great and was so reliable even tho she was past her prime when I ran it . Couple things that bugged me was they had a long steel push rod on the accelerator pedal to the fuel pump which would hurt my leg after a long day.also the boom and lift joysticks were spread apart a bit too far which after a long shift my hand would start to ache/ eventually I when to a junk yard and found a couple bigger knobs that luckily screwed on and bridged the gap between the two levers which was so much nicer ! The pedal issue likely could have been remedied with some proper springs but nobody gave a crap about but me lol .ah the good old days 🙃
International harvester made payloaders like that back in the day my uncle has a huge fiat allis loader i call it a rock loader due to its size and the way it looks tho its in rough shape
Yes, most likely a Cummins VT1710 or VTA1710 under that hood. The engine is so quiet due to the turbochargers. It may even have twin turbochargers and with an aftercooler.
@@highplainsdrifter9631 Yes, sounds like a Cummins VT1710 V12 diesel; a popular engine for this size class of front end loader. Detriot Diesel option probably a 16V71, not in this one though, both "around" 630 HP +/- range.
What a treat ! Beautiful restoration. Thank you Karl.

Beautiful machine. Do you know what year it was made? We have come a long way with Wheel Loaders. Thanks for posting.
Late 70s, probably 1978 or 79.

There’s no scream from the engine so no it’s not a Detroit.
