I am grateful to hearing your experience in Korea. I have a TEFL certificate, a master degree in Theology and presently doing my master's degree in Teaching. I am hoping that after my studies, I can apply to teach in Korea. My only problem is I am not working right now which I may have difficulty coming with the plane fare.

OMG you'll be here so soon. My last three weeks in SA FLEW BY! Enjoy the air and spend time with people!! Mine took two months because I applied in December and there were a lot of holidays. It's actually supposed to take 22 business days. But You can come here without it they will email it to you stamped and stuff. Korea will accept It. The sooner you go the better. You need Your ID, and filled out RC01 form so you get to SARS and just submit. If you don't download it before hand and fill it out. You'll first wait in line for hours for them to print out the form for you and then get a new number and wait again just to submit. Don't be like me lol. DM your email I'll foward you the form if you don't have it.

No, they use the dates you put down on your application. It’s only valid for a year make sure your dates are correct. I had incorrect dates and it got rejected and had to start again. Your Visa will want your contract but not this.

Another youtuber •said a TESL certificate is not necessary when you have a btech/bcom qualification. •Also dude the process seems so long i feel like if I start now with the process I'll only get to leave end of 2020 •Also the cost of application sounds pretty steep (I just googled the cost of getting a TESL certificate) I don't even have a passport yet so I have to start from stretch stretch!! 😭 I realllllyyy want to do this though, I dont see myself doing no internship that pays R2000 a month when the cost of living itself is ridiculously high. I'm not too sure if you've done a video explaining in detail the process because I just found your page, also if you have any idea where I can find that sort of information please let me know I'd really appreciate it. Salaries can range from R27 000 to R45 000, private institutions go up to R60 000 (even higher if you offer private tutoring), tax free, benefits similar to Korea including bonuses for just keeping your word and completing your contract. But ey, that culture shock and heat can be problematic for an opinionated black child 😅. They also prefer you have a Master's degree. Also, NO alcohol. . . I'll leave that there to think about . . . Also, men and women cannot mingle South Korea is the place to go salary wise, standard of living wise, support and respect you get (being a teacher is #3 after father and mother), cultural experience. You can do a young eat, pray, love journey there. I was actually happy to find that what I had researched and heard about the place is what @Palesa Jonas is living, experiencing and thriving. To see another person that happy is wonderfully beautiful. I like happy people 😌 China comes close to SK, but Korea has finessed the program and package better. The other places, such as Vietnam, Thailand and Taiwan are great of experience and exploration is what you're into. Money not as high but cost of living in those places is low enough. I see you also said mzansians don't pay tax or pension. We pay both tax and pension here, but the pensions get returned to you when you leave (which could take up to a whole year). Lastly, which institute did you do your TESOL with?
You pay your utilities and no one pays more than R1000 . I pay R600 and most people pay around R200 or less. it's really cheap.you don't pay first two years the tax. And pension, South Africans don't pay at all.

China comes close to SK, but Korea has finessed the program and package better.
The other places, such as Vietnam, Thailand and Taiwan are great of experience and exploration is what you're into. Money not as high but cost of living in those places is low enough.
Europe is another place that has great demand hey. Russia, Germany, Spain, Hungary, Bulgaria, Austria, Turkey, Greece, Poland, Portugal and a few more.
Money is decent, but you know how the Rand is doing against the Pound and Euro right now. . .

I see you also said mzansians don't pay tax or pension. We pay both tax and pension here, but the pensions get returned to you when you leave (which could take up to a whole year).
Lastly, which institute did you do your TESOL with?
You pay your utilities and no one pays more than R1000 . I pay R600 and most people pay around R200 or less. it's really cheap.you don't pay first two years the tax. And pension, South Africans don't pay at all.

I used inecto (caramel blonde) , I first bleached my hair to lose my natural black color but i dont recomend it though I lost a lot of my hair.
