In a genre that's absolutely loaded with former talent, Kip is one of the few that can still perform at this level. Heavily and shamefully underrated! 🤘
well you have to consider that bands like Winger and Firehouse have taken many, many long layoffs from touring so their voices should be in very good shape. unlike some of their peers from that era who barely stopped touring and since 2000 have been touring/recording non stop to pay the rent.
@@javtimestwo Kip Winger sang better than most from the genre back in the day as did CJ, and Steve Whiteman (Kix)...so while your point is completely valid, they're still extremely underrated.

Are they tuned down a whole step? Been there done that. I have a B.C. I can understand why Kip doesn't want to play it. I mean when I first got into Winger maybe 10-12 years ago and I was 19 or 20 the lyrics had a different impact to me than they do now, I mean I still think the lyrics are both great and hilarious and that the song totally rocks, but now I'm like "Holy shit this is heinous how did you get away with this! I also think it's a bit different Kip singing it in his Mid-20's than now in his early 60's, I understand why he would have reservations in the same way Robert Plant doesn't feel sincere in being the "golden god" of Zeppelin anymore. Still I think the fans would enjoy hearing it and it would bring them back to when they were teens-20's. I know they've done a version "She's only 45" XD have to admire their humor about it, I think that's performed with Beach too.
