Hawarden WildFire Riverside,CA 7/22/2024

Fire burned 527.2 acres destroyed 4 moves and damaged several others along with vehicles and backyards. Fire moved fast up hill in the heat and winds. Lucky no injuries or deaths are reported do to this incident. The cause has not been confirmed yet but preliminary report are saying caused by juveniles playing with fire works. Fire fighters were stretched extremely thing be use of another wildfire burning the south of this location in the unincorporated area of Corona,CA by the name Eagle Fire. Fire fighters and all first responders tried their best to control and contain this blaze but unfortunately a few homes were lost in the fight. Several agencies came to aid in the fire fight. As of 10 pm the fforward progress of the fire was stopped but no containment was given. Fire fighters will remain on scene throughout the night to mop up and snuff out hot spots.
