tbh I understand why they didn't. I remember their debut song was going to be blOssOm at first but they changed it to savanna because it was different.
This gives off toxic couple arguing in an expensive sports car, the one in shotgun rolling down the window to smoke while they dangerously veer through the highway vibes. Weirdly specific but it just has that dark urban feel of drugs and anger idk.
and the way its KB's turn his voice is soft and the song calms down, like how it feels to be a victim and struggle to escape from someone like that. the whole song has this red flag message and thats like the feeling a victim gets they know its wrong but theyre trapped TT and that calm moment is just a result of gaslighting (?) help idk how to explain it could b a calm before the storm or the calm within that storm and in your scenario it could be like-- they were kissing in that calm moment and then it just goes harsh again and now theyre tearing each other apart and fking
