For me this is the most mysterious out of all the major signs. Imagine having that enormoys population without suffering from any food shortage? How can they maintain their population underground? What is their source of food, water, shelter and basic necessities as a human? Allah SWT created something really amazing yet terrifying at the same time.

@@swalihmm No, their number are already huge even underground. In a hadith it was stated that for every one of the yakjuj and makjuj it will produce 1000 descendants. In another hadiths it is stated for every one thousand of the son of Adam AS 999 will be thrown to the hellfire and they are from the yakjuj and makjuj. After the destruction of the yakjuj and makjuj, not one hand span of the surface of the earth except it will be covered by the dead bodies of the yakjuj and makjuj. The numbers are astronomically high its almost impossible that for thousands of years we did not notice them or discovered them. But everything happen are by the will of Allah SWT.
@@ezwan7656 the numbers might be huge when they are out. And most of the hadiths referencing yajuj majuj are not sahih. Allah knows best. The only thing we really know about them is Dulqarnain locked them out behind some kind of dam, they shall be there (wherever they are) untill End of Times, and then they shall return as one of the Major signs. Even Isa a.s. would not be able to fight them, and they would destroy everything in their path, until they die of a disease inflicted upon them By Lord Almighty. Any other detail is not sahih.
I've read a lot about them, they are normal human beings(sons of adam عليه السلام ), they'll be a huge population, they'll support dajjal, spread corruption in earth, will kill people in multitudes and they are infact jews of isreal(and probably some Americans and Europeans too). There is a hadith that says, when the first batch of yajuj and majuj comes out they'll drink from river Jordan, by the time the last batch come out, they'll ask if that river ever had water in it(the river will be dry). Jews are the ones who are drinking from that river. Not just this, there are various other things that suggest yajuj majuj are already living with us. And also the wall built by dhul qarnain(Cyrus) is most probably in Russian and the present jews are actually russian descendants. I know it's difficult to believe all of this so I suggest you all to research more about them. Btw all of these are theories, they could be correct or wrong. Allah knows best

Muslims are unknowingly being prepared as forces for the Gog and Magog invasion of Israel through the tradition of the black flags from Khurasan who pledge their allegiance to the Caliph of Allah, the Mahdi, and who will not stop until they are set up in Jerusalem AND by hadiths such as Saheeh Muslim 2922: it is narrated from the hadith of Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah said: “The Hour will not begin until the Muslims fight the Jews and the Muslims will kill them, until a Jew hides behind a rock or a tree, and the rock or tree will say: O Muslim, O slave of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Except the gharqad (a thorny tree), for it is one of the trees of the Jews.”]
2. Who is GOG and who are his FOLLOWERS? Could you unknowingly be his FOLLOWER?
Gog IS the Antichrist. The true definition of Antichrist is first ever used in the Gospels (which, if you believe the Qur'an, are confirmed as the eternal and unalterable (incorruptible) word of Allah and which Christians "have with them" (IN THE 7TH CENTURY) and should judge themselves by: (QS 18:27, 5:43, 5:47, 3:3-4, 6:115 and 7:157). It's the Qur'an's dilemma.
According to the Gospels, the Antichrist and his followers are those who deny that Jesus is the Son of God (as stated in the Jewish scriptures such as Daniel 7:13-14 and Isaiah 9:6) and is ONE with the father:
"Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is ANTICHRIST who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also." [1John 2:22-23]
If you deny that Jesus is the Son of God, the spirit of antichrist already dwells in you. (1 John 4:3)
It is therefore a fact of life that the theology of the Qur'an and Islam is openly antichrist as it DENIES-6 CENTURIES AFTER THE EVENT and against the testimony of his Mother, Mary and the disciple John who were with him on the cross-that Jesus Christ was crucified (QS 19:91-92) and that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (QS 4:157)
IF Islamic endtimes is FULFILLED, AL MAHDI-the "Messianic figure" (a title reserved only for Jesus Christ) whom Muslims are longing for (and whom hadiths CLAIM will bring to an end the struggle between Haq and Baatil and bring "peace and Justice" to the world) will be the ANTICHRIST because he will deny, as the Qur'an (QS 4:171) does, the Gospel message that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and he will behead those who believe in the Son of God as disbelievers of his god, Allah. IF Islamic end times is FULFILLED, Gog and Magog (the Antichrist and his alliance of nations) will certainly be Islamic in nature: an Islamic Antichrist- AL MAHDI, and the final Islamic Caliphate-a confederation of Middle East nations (but not limited to the Islamic Middle East) carrying out Allah's order to invade Israel and kill Jews.
The Islamic Armageddon is a deceptive lie designed to destroy Israel! It's a corruption of the Ezekiel prophecy which is about a massive war against Israel by neighboring nations that ends in ISRAEL'S salvation (Ezekiel 39), and NOT a story of a massive war against the MUSLIMS that ends in their salivation!
The imposter of Jesus Christ-Prophet Isa of Islam (who fails to match with any one prophecy of the Messiah from the Old Testament Jewish scripture) will not fight the fictional one-eyed Dajjal. Rather the Mahdi's Islamic forces will fight against and be defeated by Jesus Christ the Son of God. This IS the final battle between the ANTICHRIST (and his forces) and Jesus Christ the Son of God:

The thing about the life we are in is that we think we are in an era of information, we believe we have all the information and discovered all there is. However this matter about the gog and magog can not be understood fully and doesn't match up to all the discoveries of mankind soo far. I feel this is the cherry on the cake we have not discovered all the world nor have all the information this is known only by Allah, their location, their coming out, the hour etc. Allah knows best. May Allah cure those who are in doubt about this matter and guide them to the sirat mustaqeen.

They are humans and from the children of Adam. No one can locate their barrier as it is an object of the unseen (in the context that one can not find it and free them via machinery or technology) unless Allāh Wills, similarly how the Jinn and the Angels lives amongst us and we are not able to discover their existence unless Allāh Wills. Therefore, no matter the technology which has come, if Allāh has Willed them to be hidden, then they will remain hidden.
Therefore one should not delve into theories, hypotheses and conspiracies. Can you discover how the noble faces of the Angels which records your deeds, are? No, as they are from the unseen and so are Ya'jūj Wa Ma'jūj currently. One should be upon the clear evidences provided by the Qur'ān and the authentic Hadīth and reject all which contradicts it!

Salaam brother. Yes I do agree that we don't believe any possibility. Yet, when it comes to scientific discoveries, research and development, all are based on theories. Theories that we believe in order to move on with certain aspects of science. Science is based on theories. Theories are made to be corrected by future scientists.
So, yes I agree with you that we have to not blindly believe, however to acknowledge all possibilities that are within our current understanding, is completely acceptable.
In fact, it is a way to build taqwa. This affirmed belief of Allah and He is the best of planners. To attach current scientific research understanding to areas, such as how yajuj majuj are living, we are not only drawing ourselves closer to our human ability to find the truth, but we are also building taqwa.
Taqwa can be built in many ways, but it has to be so strong and firm, as though it's a root of a tree. Firm. Taqwa is crucial, so embedded within us, that if we see Allah in front of us, our belief in Allah should not be elevated. So, to gain taqwa, we need to find such reasonings, possibilities, for us to build the taqwa.
If we didn't have such reasons or possibilities, wouldn't we be believing in blind faith? Our Islamic faith, is based around logic and reason. The unseen is the unseen, however our attitude to every aspect of the Quran, is to ponder and find reasons, using our logic reasoning to find scientific discoveries in the Quran and find explanations, discover explanations. Taqwa is essential. The firm belief of Allah.

The realm of the unseen can not be accessed by the use of our logic and reasoning. The child in the womb can not comprehend the worldly life as he is in a liquid and he is sustained through a tube, that is because he has not experienced it. Similarly how we can not access Al-Barzakh, which is the life after one's death and no amount of technology can ever discover it sine Allāh has Concealed it from this world - no matter what we think, imagine and hypothesize, we will not be able to arrive at a certainty because it is an aspect of the unseen and the unseen is beyond the comprehension of mankind.
The Prophet (ﷺ) has said:
_"Allāh Said, ‘I have Prepared for My pious worshipers such things as no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard of, and nobody has ever thought of.'" (Sahīh Al-Bukhārī.)_
We have a description of Al-Jannah and how it will be but it is an aspect of the unseen, therefore nobody has ever thought of, because the mind can not comprehend the unseen.
Pondering over the verses of the Qur'ān and deriving their interpretation and meanings are based upon three main foundations.
1. Qur'ān, as some verses explains the other verses.
2. Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) who was Sent to explain and teach the Qur'ān; his authentic Sunnah.
3. The pious predecessors, which includes the Sahāba and their students (Tabi'īn).
As for science, then it is based upon trial and error. If there is an aspect in the Qur'ān which matches a scientific discovery, then there is nothing wrong with regards to this. However, science is of no avail to the matters of the unseen since its prerequisite is for man to experience the subject.

10:11 No, that explanation, that "Arabs" refers to all modern or future Muslims, is much weaker than the first, because the Prophet, peace be upon him, was articulate and accurate, given that God inspired him and all; thus, if he meant all Muslims, he would've said, "ummaty" (my nation), which is a word he has used a lot in his hadiths. "Arabs" here [must] mean Arabs, literally.

The passage may be a large opening in a mountain similar to a cave, weather patterns and geological events have likely changed the appearance even more, hidden further until the time comes. Allah hu alim.

actually, the situation with gog and magog indicates that it will be after the rendering of modern weaponry disabled and ineffective otherwise mass bombing and shelling would've sufficed against them as they are likely primitive. so the question is what will happen to technology, emp, or what?
On their sirvival, I have contemplated logically. One explanation, could be that they're cannibals. Another, the food supplied underneath them. Just as caves have living creatures that live in a constant environment, it is highly appreciated and more logical to state that such yajuj majuj live in a non altering environment. Ergo, the living creatures provided for food source, also live in such conditions where they survive extremities. Also, the creatures that live there, or even yajuj majuj themselves, when they deficate (poo), they can gather the poo and allow bacteria and fungi to break down, decompose, the waste material, so yajuj majuj can consume their own faeces. Or they can consume the insects that were decomposing waste material. Even more simple, is that yajuj majuj themselves have mud and growth above them, so they have to be reliant on what's underneath them. Could be water/ice, and there are types of fish etc. Very fascinating, yet we will not know. The unseen is hidden for a reason. Allah knows best.

So my dear brother, I will state that since it is with Allāh Alone in Perfection and we can not arrive to a specific conclusion, then all of these theories are of no benefit. or at 8:15 they might just say it in their language, for once in their existence they'll have an epiphany to remember The Creator and say something to the effect of (if The God wills) purely in tawheed, like when someone is in dire need or distressed and asks The God alone for help.

what i learn from one of my research there is one guy talking about it and it make sense abit. just abit but Woe to the arab means that Yakjuj and Makjuj was already free from their wall. Remember after our beloved prophet pass away i think several decade or century after the arabs were attacked by Mongol and it was really violent that even medina was full of blood that time. i need to find this video again. but its contradict with what Allah SWT said that Yakjuj and Makjuj will come out after Dajjal at end of time. but this can be they already out now but they will start to become killer again by end of time. It's one of the reason steel was invented - it slows down corrosion rate and provide more durability. The earliest history of steel production is dated to about 4000 years ago but the manufacturing process then unlike modern ones wouldn't cater for a wall so massive to block these large army...
Had it been solely iron or steel dependent, then corrosion would have weakened it long time ago to be successfully brought down by the army. Rasulullah might have used iron as a metaphor to describe its durability but not necessarily made of iron.
The hadith said, the wall self heal itself every time they pause to continue the following day - that behavior does not resemble iron or any metal we know of 2day.

They are humans and from the children of Adam. They are in this world and all of this has been mentioned and confirmed in the Qur'ān and in the Sunnah.
If Allāh has Willed for them not to escape, thus it will be and they will not escape and Allāh is Able to do all things. They are not from a different dimension and there is no such thing as a parallel universe or an Earth wherein dwells our parallel versions.
The same mistakes are stopped, when they learn from others. They haven't interacted with any other tribe or nation, so they acknowledge their acts as normal. They don't see it as mistakes, unless other tribes correct them. They can't, as they are not in contact with any other humans.
