This woman surely has an anointed, God-given voice, but I keep hearing the stellar band backing her. Thank you, Lord for all these gifted and talented people!
This is a tour de force performance. And so damn funky! What fascinates me about Marion Williams is her sense of time. She's so rhythmic! She is one of the hardest rockers in music. I have never heard a tempo that she could not drive, wring out and push to its limits. And her exhibitionism! What a force of nature she was!
What a great gospel singer she was. This song is her true life's testimony! Love it...Thanks so much for sharing this great song by Marion Williams! Will share, as well!
Thank you for posting this. I bought her cassette on a whim in the 80's or early 90's not knowing who she was. It ended up being one of my favorites to listen to. This song was on it. It's great to see her performing live.
....WHOA! Wadda treat-thanks so much for postin!...(Ms Williams, t these ears, mighta been th greatest voice that ever made it to tape...scuse me while i watch it a coupla more times)....

The greatest voice in gospel music.
She could have been the greatest blues singer ever but chose to sing the gospel because she love God. She could sing anything
Her style influenced too much on Whitney Houston. The legend always creates another legend. R.I.P to both prodigies.
She was once offered one hundred thousand dollars to switch to blues, Mario told them she was born a gospel singer and she'll die as one.
truth unlike a lot of the sellouts of today.
truly based
YES!! S.I.P. Ms. Marion Williams 😊💙🙌

kyei daniel oduro ???? You do know Martin Luther King was dead by this time right???? Plus he was a civil rights leader, not a drummer.
@@mrpeach2023 chill mate, it's just to say that he resembles Sir Luther...you missed the point, the sarcasm
Dr King sure gets around. 😂😂
HE WAS A DRUM MAJOR FOR CHANGE!!!
Sang sister sangAmen
Four crazy people didn't like this---haha..
Allegedly her response to those running her down for having a child out of wedlock.
