  • Well Can you believe it's already been year?
    That means Just over a year that I've been doing this whole TH-cam thing! You've seen reviews from people over the years and listened to their numerous problems about their "budget Turbo" build. Theirs always something that fails wether it be all the hoses that end up leaking from the poor quality hoses that come in the kits, or even worse, engine failure due to either poor quality parts/ install or their uncles, cousins brother that can tune the car for less.
    Today we're Doing a Full Review on the HKS turbo FRS that I Installed last march, it was tuned immediately afterwards and has been running without skipping a beat ever since. The HKS turbo kit is hands down one of the best Turbo kit's off the shelf that I've ever seen for any car.
    Discover the truth about the reliability of the GT86/BRZ in our comprehensive 1-year review! Uncover real-world experiences, maintenance insights, and expert analysis to determine if this sports car is truly dependable. Watch now for essential information every GT86/BRZ owner needs to know!

    Been daily driving mine for 3 years. Only issue ive run into was that the coil packs die early. Bought some delicious tuning ones now so lets see how it goes.

    • @Billy_Built
      @Billy_Built  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I've heard of this happening with any aftermarket header without heat shielding. You can order some embossed aluminum heat shield from Amazon for fairly cheap and faster it over the header. Or near the coil packs

      Don't recommend delicious tuning. Bad customer service and one coil started failing me less than 2 years into service. Sometimes they are DOA for some customers. Best to use OEM, more so the 2017+ ones with either adapters if you use a early 2015 model or earlier or upgrade your engine harness to a the latest revision pre 2017 model release that features the upgraded coils and the revised connector.

    We have almost the same history with the car. Since 2014, uel with a tune. Now I'm thinking about boost. But I'm scared of blowing it up haha

    This build is an inspiration, but the fact that I dont have e85 in my country keeps me away from turbo mine.

    • @Billy_Built
      @Billy_Built  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Water methanol can act as a good substitute for E85. Just make sure it's setup properly.

      @@Billy_Built Ye water methanol is very popular here, will have to set the car pretty good before i make the jump
