Govt of India Either has to withdraw these DPF or give us a compensation for a harrassment we are facing with bs6 diesels.

This DPF problem occurred in my new i20 also. It was run thrice a week for 110kms daily at a speed of 60 to 70 kmph. After a month of traveling, when I completed 2200kms this DPF symbol appeared on my instrument cluster.
DPF regeneration is not a very big headache to be worried much unless you neglect it for a long time. As soon as your car's MID shows.... "DPF regeneration required, see owners manual".....Drive for some 20 to 25 kms at 3rd gear at a speed above 60kmph. Then if the DPF indicator is still on in the instrument cluster, then just park your car in a open space, turn on the engine and switch on the headlight at high beam and turn on the A/C at full blower speed and open the bonnet. Then just select self regeneration on the MID, by pressing the Ok button or the dedicated DPF button,( if you don't have both, then turn on and off the key continuously for 5 times and switch on the car).
Keep the car running for 30 min and the regeneration process will be completed and your problem will be solved.
My car took 27 min to self regenerate.

i am facing it at less than 1000 kms... its pity in developing country where government tries to pose as advanced nation ( by putting BS6 norms...NOT ENFORCING) but as the same time alongside law abiding citizens ' ek Vikram ya jugaad wala is running his 25 years old vehicle.... yes we BS6 compliant people are paying price emotionally and economy wise....pity

Bought HYUNDAI VENUE car and in 6 months it stopped in the middle of nowhere. The company said we will have to regenerate the car every 4th day, they call this regeneration process 'TECHNOLOGY'. Hyundai Venue BS6 diesel model has failed. Regeneration process is not at all practical. Hyundai should stop selling BS6 DIESEL MODEL.
This is not only the problem of venue I have XUV 300 W8 DIESEL. WHAT I FOUND IS ENGINE above 2.0 ltr are having options of Add blue mixture which is separately given in the car are not having such problems. But engines below 2.0 ltr specially 1.5 ltr bs6 diesel engines does not have such options which means you only have two options for regeneration either you run your car on 60kmph for 30 minutes which is quite a tough part. And another option is parking regeneration which is quite a gimmick thing cause I have done parking regeneration for almost 5 time and 4 time it's unsuccessful for no reason😂 and I have to clear the DPF through service centers.
DPF replacement should be your last option. We work with both manufactures as well as end users cleaning their DPFs. If anyone is at the verge of replacing your DPF, do get in touch with us before spending an exorbitant money on new DPFs

@@shubhamrathod7008 not really. There are multiple variables which affects DPF clogging.
Also if DPF lights are on and you keep driving the vehicle, chances are that it will trigger further error codes which may impact running of your car
My scorpio have the same problem & I am from Kashmir. What to do in chilly cold.I suggest the car manufacturing companies to get it resolved once for all.
Sir I suggest to to return ur car as soon as possible... after some years ..ther wount be any one to buy ur cars ... this is a worst issue especially in cold areas ... no resale value for these cars... everyone is well aware now ...

We faced the same in our Toyota Innova which was purchased in November of 2021. It has occurred about 7-8 times and the car is currently in the Service centre. It has become a huge headache for us and caused a great deal of depression in the household as my father worked very hard to buy his dream car. Showroom walon ne bhi nahi bataya before purchasing, otherwise we'd have gone for the petrol model. Bohut bara problem ho gaya hai as we haven't received any solution as of yet.

Hi Gogoi Da. What is the current status of your car? Actually we have bought the same car as yours and after 6 months- 2,700 kms later, the dpf issue popped up (dpf full please visit showroom).
We went to the showroom 2 days ago and got it resolved. Really worried if the same thing will happen again.
Furhter, how frequently do you use your car?. Ours we rarely use it, maybe this is the reason for the same.

I have a new creta diesel knight edition & have the same dpf problem. Dealer walo ne kaha clean karna padega .. ye tho permanent solve hoga nahi. Iska solution kya hoga

3rd gear me chalao 2500rpm ke upar 30-40 km, dpf clean ho jayega Diesel particulate burn ho jayega heat se.
Bs6 fuel is sold everywhere. Separate fuel is not sold anywhere.
Mere pas i 20 asta hai aur kal 9884 km. pe first time usme dpf warning ayi aur main aaj hi use workshop pe le gaya tha unhone uska ac and uski sari lights on karke usse 2000rpm pe set karke almst 45 mins tak on rakha and uske baad mujhe gaadi wapas de di.. uske baad usme wo sign chala gaya.. dekho ab kab tak sahi chalti hai..
Company walo ne gadi lene se pahle batana chahie....ye accha nhi hai customer k sath dhokha hai aur dpf waranty mai nhi ata ...aur kya mtlb 20 22lk ki gadi lo fir ye paresani jhelo....

Kuch ni pta issey, ye problem sirf unko arii hai jo low rpm pe gaddi chlate hai, mere friend k pass creta diesel hai uski 2-3 mahine bhi khadi rehti hai car but wo mostly highway pe chlata hai aur ussey koi issue ni aya aj tk aisa.

I am completely disappointed by companies clarification on the issue. I faced this problem in my newly purchased Creta Diesel SX on 249 km run.
Mine is same, i faced this issue on 350 kms and then done dpf manually, it cost me around 300₹ of diesel. This is not fare to spend 20 lakh and then again spending on diesel of dpf 😓. Lot of headache

It is not a 'problem". All diesel BS6 cars under 2L engine has this problem, worldwide.

DPF filter works with certain temperature. To obtain that temperature we need long trips. If you have city bumper to bumper journey & no long drives, there may be the chance of DPF filter issue because of insufficient temperature.

You both do not have any knowledge about the diesel car all types bs6 diesel engine are present in indian market along with cars with add blue and when we drive on hiway roads 25 to 30 km your dpf fillar clean automatically please know about subject before making the videos.

bro it’s not manufacturing defect.. Actually bs6 diesel vehicles have this problm in very common. So U should need a week end ride of 60-100 km . then the deposited carbon will expelled

@@satishkumark2215 I finally sold my car recently bcz for regeneration I had to drive car to dealership after 15 or 20 days to clean DPF. My advice is don't buy BD6 Disel car I had buyed Hyundai Venue Disel car @9.50 laks and sold it recently @7.50 only after one and half years. All BS6 Disel cars have this manufacturing defect bcz initialy Hyundai will do it free then after 2-years you have to pay for DPF cleaning....

Sir I hv purchased tata harrier, and I hv driven it 4.2k on odo (60 kmph 85% and 80kmph 15%) on highway and in I hv never faced dpf issue and I have never crossed 80kmph that is 80kmph only 15 % max 85% on 60kmph
It doesn't have fixed range I've seen some guys have arised this problem after 10k running
Congratulations your car has “add blue” technology you will never face dpf issues, you will only have to refill add blue after certain kms
@@AbhishekSharma-vn3ed today after 7k kms I served harrier and service guy done dpf regeneration from laptop 💻 and he told that dpf carbon was 60% and come down to 35% n he told me that carbon can go upto 300% u r good to go
