Dear Grampian Auto Service, the filler pipe at my GC8 startet leaking in spring. I knew, that i had to replace it. So i searched for a vid to do it myself and found your great video including all part numbers. So i ordered the parts and had a few weeks dilivery time. Original parts are rare here in Austria but i finally got them. Meanwhile i filled my tank just to the half. This worked but sucked when i was driving longer distances. Today i watched your video again and started changing the filler pipe. IT WORKED GREAT! Now i take some time to let you know, that without your vid i wouldn`t have made it. You helped me saving money. Hope your P1 is driving again and is in good condition. It`s such an amazing car. So, i just wanted to say a big THANK YOU!
Hi, i usually just carefully remove the first pipe to allow the pressure to bleed off, it is advisable to remove the fuel pump fuse or relay and run the car until it stalls if you are concerned about fuel spillage. Thanks, G.A.S.

Did you not have to pull out the fuel pump fuse or fuel system? Or can you just unbolt it all straight away?
