Mhc genes sitting on chromosome 6 could be an indication (and other common autoimmune conditions) but usually a trigger occurs before myositis symptoms occur

I have it. Just started this year with scleroderma first then signs of myositis... a lot of muscle weakness. Red spots all over the worst on my face. Raynauds for at least 15 years prior... my 14 year old granddaughter is showing some symptoms. I am scared for her. I know it’s rare but at 14 she has Raynauds and she has capillaries pop in her eyes frequently... the Raynauds is fairly new for her but the eye thing has been going on for awhile...

Sarcoidosis is autoimmune disease . Can a person develop myositis if his mother has sarcoidosis?
