Your style makes your videos worthwhile. Videos have info, scenery, social life, Thailand, and other countries. Definitely much more than other YTers offer.
This channel and James Abroad are my two favourite Thai vlogger channels for much the same reason actually, just very laid back and no bs type guys giving their honest take on things. Good stuff greeny !
I like your channel and I will watch your content but it annoys me when content creators think they need a "hook" to get people to watch. "Was I stalked in Thailand" I feel duped after watching. You don't need this Greeny!
Awesome Charles finally pulled the plug and retired here. His lunch choice was great too. Nice to see Chris, Gary, John, Charles, and yourself. I just arrived back in Pattaya myself Tuesday for a few days. Then headed back to Chiang Rai. Thanks Greeny.
Great stuff as always Greeny,so happy you’re dating, good luck, congrats to Charles retirement, reason ur audience love ur channel is your down to earth nature 😂 That lunch looked a beast😋😉❤️
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 I worked in a large county owned and operated medical center for over 27 years. i retired at age 52 (with a pension) because the high stress of the job started to affect my health. I got a job in the private sector after my so-called “retirement” and I am now ready to truly retire and enjoy my sunset life. I wish I could retire in Thailand but my wife and I need our Medicare so we will stay stateside. Good for you guys! 🏖️🏄🏻♂️🐠🏃♂️➡️
Hey Greeny do you have specific flights you look for when flying Dtw to bkk ? Economy or business class ? I've made the trip once back in March from Detroit, just curious if you have a goto for your flights from Detroit to Bangkok
Greenies old habits kickin in. "Just pull over there sir".😅. I'm dreading having to go back to the US for a maintenance visit. And thanks for all the restaurant tips. I usually hit them up after watching vids. Big thanks.
hey thanks for explaining that conversion thing on the ATMs. I was over there last month and kept noticing it and wasn't sure what it was about. Unfortunately, I chose the conversion so I guess i lost money on that. Anyway, I'll be back over there next month so now I'll know. Take care!
😂discombobulated! You can say that again.great seeing Charles surely he has a Mentor at had to keep him from liveing there with no drama.😊 keep cracking your videos !! They are very informative. Nicks Out!
Tell your friend who wanna get a car that Tesla's prices in Thailand are almost the same as in the US. Thai government made a deal with the Chinese to import Tesla with almost no taxes and yes all Tesla in Thailand are from Shanghai gigafactory. If you don't live in Bkk, it's much safer to drive a car.
When you were at the ATM and said, "Money, Money, Money", I waited during the pause and thought "he better finish the count and say it that one final time", and you did! That would of bothered me if you didn't, haha.
Hey, your channel is awesome … very real, gives a good sense of expat life in honest ways Interesting that your girlfriend is in Bangkok … I’m planning on doing 6 months Canada, 6 months Thailand starting in 2025, trying to decide where to be based. Had thought Bangkok, mainly because more culturally stimulating and meet more “normal” women. But around Pattaya is so tempting … fun, easy and inexpensive. Not really looking for a serious GF, so maybe your way is best … be based in Pattaya, visit Bangkok every few weeks, see girlfriend sometimes (but not too much). Food for thought!
Mazda Pattaya have a line profile to book in your Mazda for service or repairs, though they dropped the old line and came up with a new one which forced me to go in when i couldnt raise the dead for booking a service, like it would have been helpful if they prewarned customers before the change, anyway next time you go in the QR code for line is at the cashiers counter or just ask...
I noticed all the plates with fries came with mayo but everyone used ketchup. Mayo is popular in Europe for fries instead of ketchup.....try it next time
Just echoing what others have said please don’t stop all the random stuff and going off at tangents - it’s what makes life and your channel interesting. We’ve seen all the breakfast and Sunday roast places. Good to see Charles has escaped the rat race at last
La Cremerie is from a Belgium owner and is doing very good in Pattaya with several restaurants now. Vol au vent is also from Belgium just like me and sometimes i go eat there when i want to eat Belgium food. It's 100% the same as in my home country. And yes, being in Thailand and staying single is very difficult. I tried it a couple of times but the lady's are throwing themselves at us on a daily basis and i'm not talking about the "working" lady's. I live now in in the outskirts of Bangkok where farangs are almost non existant and when they see me, it's always the same questions: you have wife? How much wife you have, you know Mia noi 😂 1 wife is enough for me 🤭 Looking forward to the new video uploads 👌
I know what you mean about jet lag. Just came home back to San Francisco from Italy. 12.5 hour flight. Still up in the air after two days. Back to Italy October 9th. PS Glad you dumped the ex. She gave off a bad vibe.
I'm sure your buddys cool as hell, but watching him scared me. Maybe he should have driven scooters in the usa to get his sea legs. I'd suggest him taking a training camp of some sort. He looks way too knew.
I have a buddy moving there soon as well. He'll be there in Oct scoping things out. He'll come back here for Nov. Back there to get everything nailed down in Dec. Then back here to sell everything and move out in March.
Man that bakery looks so good. I mean french bread that looks like out of a Boulangerie in Paris. And ten bucks for that meal?! What would that have cost you in the states with tax and the compulsory gratuity? Not ten dollars I don't think. That's one of the many things I love about Thailand - amazing cheap Thai food and international food for less than it costs at home and top quality. The Thais are just so good at it. I just couldn't live in the Philippines for that reason alone. Food is generally grim. Sure you can get a decent feed in BGC but at home prices, more actually
The Philippines food scene would be tough. Great food abundance here. Usually tips here about 10% and are super happy. Many Thais don’t tip here though. We should I feel.
"Just pull up right there, Sir!" Old habits die hard, hey Greeny!? Also, not that I'm judging, but didn't Charles just break the law there (no helmet!). I won't tell, Officer... honest! 😉 Loving that you're happy again, Greeny (and that your mate, Charles, has 'pulled the trigger'). Genuinely happy for you both! Lemon iced tea is great. I completely agree getting it without sugar. Americans tend to put FAR too much sugar in their iced-teas. No need! And, finally... you have the benefit that so many Westerners don't have (and, perhaps, largely due to your police training): you can spot b*s* a mile away. It might not completely prevent you from being scammed by a woman (as love is often blind), but it can certainly prevent you from falling into the traps that many Westerners do when they move to Thailand and 'fall in love' with a Thai woman (which is often not reciprocated).
Your style makes your videos worthwhile. Videos have info, scenery, social life, Thailand, and other countries. Definitely much more than other YTers offer.

I'm glad you back in Thailand I've been watching for a minute I live in Michigan too I'm coming to visit next year I hope I have a chance to meet you

I stopped watching chocolate man in Thailand because of it. It’s so annoying

I love how you guys are living your best lives in Thailand, an inspiration to us all!!
Thanks. Great times here.
I'm glad you are back home in Thailand, looking forward to your random videos which is one of the reason I like your channel.

Thanks. I appreciate it.

Thank you. Will do
Great to see you back in Thailand. We coming over from PI end of October. Charles looks happy, looking forward to his journey story. Be safe

What you eat there in that Belgian restaurant is vol-au-vent. It is seasoned with medeira. A liqueur from the island of Madeira.
Delicious!!

Hi Greeny, I’m moving over next month so all this information will be useful thanks 👌
Awesome. Glad to help.
Try a croq monseur it's ham Swiss or gruyere and bechamel sauce on a toasted French country bread oats delicious if made right

Personally I like the variety. Never know what to expect. I did, however, want to see what John had ordered since is the real foodie in that group. 😊
Onion soup and a salad. Boring today
