hello ! I am grégory at position #16 ! ( the one with the headphone and hifi video ) Thank you very much for putting us in your video ; my wife and I appreciated the video a lot ! So many beautiful systems and rooms on display here ! all of you guys have great taste :) ( I was drooling over the Otari tape deck in the end of the video :love ) me and my wife sends regards !
Amazing gear you guys and very good taste for design and aesthetics! Great episode! Now I see on which level I am with my gear and if you see it here I’d love to read some comments. After 7 years collecting records I’m still a rookie with my gear hahaha. Best wishes you all! P
You put a lot of work into this project Guido. You did a great job too. Out of all of the systems that you showed today I have to be a snob and go for system 20 with the Pass Labs equipment. This guy knew what he was doing when he put his system together. Not that the other participants didn’t but there were a few submissions where each element of the music system was very carefully chosen as part of their harmonious family.
Danny from position number 2 here. Many thanks for featuring me. I sound hideous (I was whispering because it was very late and I have elderly neighbours). Also interesting to see what others have. Glad you got a lot of entries.
Surely if they're elderly, they wouldn't hear you anyway? Haha, nice system Danny, not heard of those speakers, perhaps you should do a review on TH-cam for them?
I didn't expect my Tannoy's to get onto your show. I thought it would be of interest so I shared it with you but very pleased to see my Tannoy DIY project up there :)

I love watching how others do their listening rooms. Gives me some new ideas 💡 for mine. I’ve also noticed how many of your subscribers ( including yourself) own at least one Technics component 😇😎
Great video, Guido! Thanks so much. I love room tours and seeing other people’s systems and how they approach them. Good stuff, man. Thanks again! ✌️🎶 🌝 🔊
@@anadialog You know it, dude! 👍 I’m in the process of totally redoing my system right now, and seeing other people’s rigs is helpful. I’ve spent way to much money in the past few weeks on some new components. Woohoo! LOL
Hello Guido, new to your channel more or less, great stuff brother. This was really interesting, it's so nice to see these great set ups. Gave me more confidence to mix and match. Greetings from Germany.
3:08 Yes, butcher those names, then put them on the BBQ, makes them nice and juicy! 🤤 Btw, I still think your Technics SL-1200G is the best looking component in the video! 😎
Hey, you have been looking for I2S input device to your dac. Somebody from today's presentation showed us: Singxer SU-6 reclocker. It has I2S output and Kitsune sells an upgraded version. I guess you can review this babe and tell us sound improvements of your Holo Audio Kitsune dac. What do you think?
Yeah, but this has only a I2S input. The problem, which the box I suggested resolves (probably not audiophile grade components), is having an HDMI/I2S protocol converter. Plus the May is extremely precise with its crystek VCXO clocks, no need to reclock IMO.
It is called DDC meaning digital to digital converter, it purifies and shapes signal to dac. Input is USB and output to dac is I2S. Denafrips is selling similar device. I also suggest looking for network bridge.
hello, I am the owner of the singxer su-6 in the video, Indeed it is a usb reclocker, but it also has a supercapacitor for usb noise filtering, and internal OCXO clock ( oven controlled ). it has I2S output indeed, but also spdif. For me it works much better converting the usb to spdif to my dac, than using the USB input from the DAC. My next upgrade would be maybe a DAC with an I2S Input, so I can take full advantage of the SU-6 interface. I know as well that a good streamer with dedicated linear power supply would be better, but I will explore this later. I also have the etheregen in my radar for testing... as well as 10mhz master clock... I think it will be interesting to explore :)

That first room is so inviting. Some good music, friends, glass of chilled wine and a good conversation....
Indeed!
Other than Champagne, wine
worth enjoying isn't chilled.

placement in these systems
is simply horrendous.
Just one comment to almost all of these people; Get your speakers away from the walls.
True, but hard to do in most cases...
