Inuman started out as a social/communal event kasi, from our tuba and rice wine days, where the men gathered around for some small talk that would usually go on for hours. We got used to this I guess. I bet the well-off ones dont do this though. Also, we used to have a thing called blood compacts; this kind of says that people who drink from the same cup are brothers/family.
Love u guys😍😍😍😍 Here are some of my opinions: 1. Soda in plastic bag - all your opinions are right. Bec the stores are paying for the CRV of each bottle that can’t be impose sa customers. Also customers can sell the bottles for refund. 2. Tagay- family word is correct & to add with it, pag May malaking inuman, they wanted to make sure too na everybody will drink evenly & get drunk evenly😂 3. Birthday - honestly it’s a stigma that needs to be corrected. Unfortunately that’s how we grew up, even here in the US, still practicing it😤 Yon Lang po & please guys, post more para happy pa more😍😍❤️❤️
Walang lamangan walang kaunti Lang. At syempre para Makita Yung una babagsak sa inuman. 😂😂😂
As a pure filipino I will answer some of the question of ate das, may ic-clear lang ako na mga answer and yeah 'some' lang kasi di ko rin kaya ipaliwanag yung iba hehe. Q. why do filipinos use their lips to point on something? - siguro kasi yung word na "dun" at "yun" kapag binanggit mo sya mapapa pout din talaga yung bibig mo kaya siguro nagkakaganon. Q. on birthday, celebrant will treat or the guest?
I agree with some of your points, but I think another reason why the elderly mix rice (and bread) with coffee is to make it softer since they're already old and have a hard time to chew. Minsan kasi diba kumakain tayo ng malamig na nakanin which is mej matigas so yun.
Pointing with lips it's a superstition belief according to Lola, Lolos and oldest generation when am growing up when u point ure finger specially unfamiliar place and forest u might attract or offend engkanto so instead u used u re mouth to point..
Or when you're lifting something heavy like a heavy sack of rice over your head or lifting 2 buckets of water using both of your hands. You really have to pout your lips to point something.
One thing I noticed with Koreans mas demure sila when they are in groups laughing d tulad ng Pinoy when they laugh they hit each other, nag ah appear ..nagtutulakan.. Kita mo they got our mannerism na lol
for the 1 glass rule... my relatives told me that they just have 1 glass so everyone drinks the same amounts of alak. because if everyone has their own glass, some tend to drink less... so kapag isa lang ung glass walang damutan but idk haha
True. They said na we should not judge, but I feel like the tita and Vince are unable to explain well compared to Jinho when it's pretty much common knowledge for us Filipino.

@@notshizuki and maybe, because they're foreigners, they tend to understand why we have those mannerisms and superstitions, that's why they efficiently discuss those. So when they are more interested, they really give the best explanation to that thing.
At ung iba ginagawa un lalo na ung mga mahihilig sa sabaw and i also do that.

Hi Dasuri! We love watching your channel, especially my 7 yr old daughter. I love how you love our country and most especially the people. I think the knocking on wood came from America. Americans knock on wood to prevent changing their good luck to bad.
Regarding sa ‘knock on wood’, kumakatok tayo sa something out of wood para baliktarin ang nasabi o curse (sumpa) kasi baka magkatotoo. Hehehe.
I really love how the Filipino “kakalugan” rubs onto the Koreans. It really shows na love talaga nila mga Pinoy and they embrace it. Pero I wonder, kung hindi sila napadpad sa Pinas and they remained in Korea, will their personalities be as “kalog” or will they be more reserved and serious like most Koreans?
Let me add some info about the kape being poured and eaten with rice... This is actually a "Batangueno" habit or a practice that is usually for people from batangas. They grew up eating it like so as practiced by their ancestors.

I love South Koreans. Very lovely and friendly people. Sandra, Jin and Dasuri...you guys are the best. I’m glad you got accustomed to the language and lifestyle there. 😘😍💖
-having only one shot glass is about being bonded, and it also portrays that if ever more people comes to drink you don't need to get your own new glass because everyone shares one glass. -for the celebrant treating or paying for his/her own birthday, the reason behind that is the celebrant wants to celebrate their birthday regardless if there are guest or not, surprise or not, filipino have their own plan in their birthday(like going on vacation) and its more of the celebrant being happy for his/her birthday so he/she celebrates and shares for being alive for a new year and not for wasting money to feed your family or friends, it more of sharing in your luck in your luckiest day. -knock on wood is a superstition way of repelling negative statements made on a conversation in filipino culture, not sure where it came from but, i heard once that trees in the philippines are home to supernatural beings like dwende, diwata and such, and knocking on wood which is made of trees announces that, "(knockX3)uhm... supernatural being... please don't let that negative statement happen to me or to someone"
Di na kami babalik sa tindahan to return the bottle 😊
Ate Das i really like the content ☺sana po mapadalas yung collab nyo ni Kuya Jinho nakakatuwa po kasi kayo panoorin at tsaka po may matutunan din kami sa inyo tungkol sa Korean din po....sana lang naman God Bless 💓💓💓PLEASE NOTICE ME PO I'M A FAN OF YOUR'S (Shout po beke nemen😂)
We use serving spoon first Para Talaga di masira ang food 2nd Yun nga if incase may kasabay kumain na medyo maselan at maarte😁 Yung plastic sa drinks kasi nga ibinabalik Yung bottle so conveniently you can take your drinks with you Kaya pinaplastic. Yung kape sa rice for me mahilig ako dun that's because Para na syang ulam if di nakapagluto sa breakfast and masarap kasi Yung contrast ng sweetness ng coffee pag maalat like for fried rice at tuyo,1 shot glass Para equal sharing Yung inuman kasi nga mga alak dito sa Pinas is mostly bottle for sharing talaga
“Knock on Wood” copied from the Americans, if in ur conversation something sad or unfavourable was talked about, you “knock on wood” n say “knock on wood” hoping it won’t happen to u.
Yong about sa 'kain !' Tapos wla namang maihain, tawag jan , ' hospitality, pero if ever na kakain ka talaga at isang peace chicken lng talaga, kaya nya ying ibigay hatiin sayo. Kasi Sa lahat ng bagay sa mundo, pagkain ang hindi pwng ipagdamot kahit saang religion ka, masamng madamot ng pagkain, kasi not all the time na ang dumaan sayo habang kumakain ka ay abubdant, meron jan napadaan na wla palang agahan , tanghalian, pero di mo siya tinawag para kumain.
About sa knock on wood. Yan yung "knock on wood three times" kasi from olden times Filipinos believe that there are good spirits who resides in the trees so whenever they were travelling or something bad may happen they would knock on the trees three times to wake the spirits and guide as well as protect them throughout their journey. Kaya sa kahoy lang siya dapat. This is the version that I grew up with tho, baka merong ibang explanation sa ibang lugar.
Annyeonghaseyo Ate dasuri! I'm an early squad 50 seconds since you posted this I was waiting for this video and today is my birthday 🎂..... I'm just hoping that you can give me a shout out or do a video were you can't say no to mommy pinkis.... I love you 😘♥️ I'm a big fan 😘
there`s a 3 status filipino way mayaman middle at mga magsasaka mas makikilala mo ang filipino tradition sa mga karatig province like may mga farm ms.dasuri i think you may enjoy it how to generous them kahit mahirap sila basta yung mga farmers life ..... im so proud kasi sa mga farmer ... na feel ko ang generous nila kahit hindi ka nila relatives....
I just came from work and though tired and have not sleep for 16 hrs your video brightened my day. Happy to see Jinho:)
"BIRTHDAY" Most of the Filipinos is Hindi Naman sila always Yung nag titreat it depends on a person Kung gusto nila mang treat or gusto nila itreat sila like her family or her friends sometimes may surprising na nagaganap kase gusto nila pasayahin Yung may birthday because it's her day so that's why they want to make her feel she's so important to them... Okay Kaya it depends on a person Hindi sila always Yung nangtitreat kanya kanyang diskarte😉😉hahahahaah..
🤣🤣🤣 mostly tama ang answer... 1. Softdrinks - kasi, mostly na bibili gusto umalis ka-agad, ayaw mag tambay sa tindahan, solution n ate, e plastic kasi pag mag bottle baka ma wala. 2. Tagay (inuman) dapat isang baso lng kasi even yung distribution, yung tanggero din alam kng sinong hindi umiinom ... Para masaya dapat lahat iinum... 😂 3. Sitsit or Pssst or hoy! Especially kng malayo yung taong tinatawag mo... Either feeling mo d ka na riirinig or d lta sure kng sya bah talaga yun, kasi either naka side view or naka talikod, so pag lumingon tapos hindi pala sya yung inakala mo, d ka ma papahiya hahahahaha.... Yung Hoy! expression ... Maraming meaning, ask Bogart. 😂 4. Yung pag point gamit ang lips 😂 tamad moves lng yun ... Sabi din n mama... Malawak (wide range) ang tinuturo... Like "san ka punta" "dooon 😗" meaning somewhere north (for example) 5. Birthday, tama yun, gusto lng mag share or may reason man libre, d lng s birthday, sa amin, mag papakain pag death anniversary kasi parang family gathering na din .. and we also surprise naman din, depende sa culture ng friendship. 6. KNOCK ON WOOD... It's actually a Western thing.. From dictionary.con Express a wish that something will or will not occur, as in This last round of treatment should have cured her, knock on wood. This expression alludes to an ancient superstition that literally knocking on or touching wood will ward off evil spirits. [ Since 1900] **Add lng... ** Yun lang....

Sharing shot glass
If you’re drinking kasi minsan may iba na gusto uminom ng marami agad agad kasi baka malungkot or ganun tas meron din iba na ayaw uminom o palaging nag sasabi ng “mamaya na” so if you share one shot glass then everyone gets to drink the same amount of alcohol and then it encourage people to keep a pace because the next person can’t drink if the previous person didn’t drink yet
Sinong bumabayad pag birthday
Usually mag pa handa yung celebrant during a birthday to share his/her blessings so usually it’s the celebrant
Coffee with rice
May pagkain kasi kami na champorado which is rice with chocolate soup/sauce and is usually eaten in the morning so sometimes pag walang cocoa beans or “tablea” minsan hinahalo na lang ang coffee and rice and it’s also a way to stay awake

That "Basta busog!" 😂😂😂 more of this Dasuri 😁😅
Hahaha had fun watching part 1 n 2. I hope meron pang ganito. Tnx!

This is like watching World of Dave(Migook), Filipino version with a korean host who's fluent(with accent) in speaking tagalog
Di na kami babalik sa tindahan to return the bottle 😊
Ate Das i really like the content ☺sana po mapadalas yung collab nyo ni Kuya Jinho nakakatuwa po kasi kayo panoorin at tsaka po may matutunan din kami sa inyo tungkol sa Korean din po....sana lang naman God Bless 💓💓💓PLEASE NOTICE ME PO I'M A FAN OF YOUR'S (Shout po beke nemen😂)
I love your topic. I love it. parang tambay lng... tas inuman lng.... gusto ko to.
"Knock on wood" is a saying in english
I love Jinho! I feel like he's the rebel of the group and I can certainly relate. LOL
ang ganda nang topic, sana may part3 pa..
Hoyy jinho even if your korean you act and speak as a Filipino now hahaha 🤣🤣🤣 i just noticed 😂

“Knock on Wood” copied from the Americans, if in ur conversation something sad or unfavourable was talked about, you “knock on wood” n say “knock on wood” hoping it won’t happen to u.
I enjoyed watching this kind of content. I hope there will be Part 3 4 5 and more soon.
Minsan utak talaga ni JinHo HAHAHAHAHAHAHA HALU BEACONS MAG-INGAYYYY

Yong about sa 'kain !' Tapos wla namang maihain, tawag jan , ' hospitality, pero if ever na kakain ka talaga at isang peace chicken lng talaga, kaya nya ying ibigay hatiin sayo. Kasi Sa lahat ng bagay sa mundo, pagkain ang hindi pwng ipagdamot kahit saang religion ka, masamng madamot ng pagkain, kasi not all the time na ang dumaan sayo habang kumakain ka ay abubdant, meron jan napadaan na wla palang agahan , tanghalian, pero di mo siya tinawag para kumain.
" basta busog tae din yan " 😅😅
- Jinho 2019

About sa knock on wood. Yan yung "knock on wood three times" kasi from olden times Filipinos believe that there are good spirits who resides in the trees so whenever they were travelling or something bad may happen they would knock on the trees three times to wake the spirits and guide as well as protect them throughout their journey. Kaya sa kahoy lang siya dapat.
This is the version that I grew up with tho, baka merong ibang explanation sa ibang lugar.
"Filipino love sweets"
Kahit japanese yan din ang sinasabi.
Sino japanese
Kakatuwa si Jinho Bae ♥

there`s a 3 status filipino way mayaman middle at mga magsasaka mas makikilala mo ang filipino tradition sa mga karatig province like may mga farm ms.dasuri i think you may enjoy it how to generous them kahit mahirap sila basta yung mga farmers life ..... im so proud kasi sa mga farmer ... na feel ko ang generous nila kahit hindi ka nila relatives....

I just came from work and though tired and have not sleep for 16 hrs your video brightened my day. Happy to see Jinho:)
"BIRTHDAY"
Most of the Filipinos is Hindi Naman sila always Yung nag titreat it depends on a person Kung gusto nila mang treat or gusto nila itreat sila like her family or her friends sometimes may surprising na nagaganap kase gusto nila pasayahin Yung may birthday because it's her day so that's why they want to make her feel she's so important to them... Okay Kaya it depends on a person Hindi sila always Yung nangtitreat kanya kanyang diskarte😉😉hahahahaah..
🤣🤣🤣 mostly tama ang answer...
1. Softdrinks - kasi, mostly na bibili gusto umalis ka-agad, ayaw mag tambay sa tindahan, solution n ate, e plastic kasi pag mag bottle baka ma wala.
2. Tagay (inuman) dapat isang baso lng kasi even yung distribution, yung tanggero din alam kng sinong hindi umiinom ... Para masaya dapat lahat iinum... 😂
3. Sitsit or Pssst or hoy! Especially kng malayo yung taong tinatawag mo... Either feeling mo d ka na riirinig or d lta sure kng sya bah talaga yun, kasi either naka side view or naka talikod, so pag lumingon tapos hindi pala sya yung inakala mo, d ka ma papahiya hahahahaha.... Yung Hoy! expression ... Maraming meaning, ask Bogart. 😂
4. Yung pag point gamit ang lips 😂 tamad moves lng yun ... Sabi din n mama... Malawak (wide range) ang tinuturo... Like "san ka punta" "dooon 😗" meaning somewhere north (for example)
5. Birthday, tama yun, gusto lng mag share or may reason man libre, d lng s birthday, sa amin, mag papakain pag death anniversary kasi parang family gathering na din .. and we also surprise naman din, depende sa culture ng friendship.
6. KNOCK ON WOOD... It's actually a Western thing..
From dictionary.con
Express a wish that something will or will not occur, as in This last round of treatment should have cured her, knock on wood. This expression alludes to an ancient superstition that literally knocking on or touching wood will ward off evil spirits. [ Since 1900]
**Add lng...

Ung s softdrinks kaya sia pinaplastik kasi ndi pede itake out ung bote..😁😁😁 lalo n kapg anlayo ng binilhan mo..😁😁
Love this video.. Kulit ni jinho bae!!😂😂
Laughtrip..!!!😁😁
