At the beginning Don Lemon said Trump didn’t denounce white supremacy, which if anyone listened to Trump’s speech in Charlottesville he undeniably denounced the kkk and white supremacy.
He backed his point of view with an analogy that related to Ben as a Jewish person and Ben agreed. You can laugh at the form of what Don said, but the content makes sense.
comiu That isn’t the point though. Ben himself has said many times that HE is bias. Everyone with an opinion is bias and for Don Lemon to say he has no animus against Trump is laughable.
Glad u asked!🤗The “slight of hand”pulled by networks like cnn msnbc abc cbs mtv espn is that they pretend to be objective in their analysis .In other words, they claim to be “the most trusted source for news””unbiased” “ “ call it like I see it” or whatever their slogan may be, as a way of by passing criticism for OBVIOUS left wing bias.Say what you want about a guy like Tucker Carlson or Bill Oriely, but they don’t hide the fact that they are Republican, if anything they wear it as a badge of honor, because they are “op ed” guys giving you their opinion. Left wing networks (cnn in particular)pretend to be journalists, even though a guy like Lemon,CLEARLY has a bias that leans left. It would be insulting to your intelligence and mine to hear Bill Oriely try to claim he doesn’t have a right wing bias! right?....... Riiiiiiiiiight! Don’t play dumb!!! Shapiro exposed that in Lemon. I got $100 bill says if I quoted something from Fox News you might say who cares what they think they’re “Alt right”. But if I said who cares what cnn thinks they’re “alt left”,you would probably say something to the effect of, “so you can’t take the truth huh“ completely ignoring the fact that the source (cnn) is completely bias, thus eliminating the validity of anything that comes from that network. It means lefties don’t get to hijack the intellectual or moral high ground anymore! Don lemon had to contradict himself in order to answer Ben Shapiro’s questions, and for those who truly understand the nuance of that conversation, Know that Don lemon wanted nothing to do with Ben Shapiro on his show! and the only reason they let Ben on was to seem unbiased in light of the fact he was banned from speaking from the Berkeley campus for being an alt right neo-Nazi, despite the fact that he is a practicing Jew , A narrative that CNN helped propagate by the way! Watching Don lemon pretend that he isn’t bias is a lot like a child with chocolate chip cookie all over his face , trying to convince an adult!, That he didn’t get into the cookie jar . Don lemon got his hand caught in the cookie jar. The people who don’t want to see that will never see it! the people on the right already know this! and the people who don’t know any better would tell you of course that motherfucker leans left what are you stupid! It’s just like when they pull the cameras away from the burning buildings in the background to talk about the “peaceful protesters”
It's as I stated in a comment above, but I thought I would reply: Don's IQ is so low and Ben's is so high that Don can't see the forest through the trees. He just keeps trying to argue the details of Ben's examples, not realizing their only purpose is to explain the effect Trump has on the media (edit: by demonstrating Don's bias).

True. Dumb Lemon is still an idiotic Leftist puppet piece of garbage though. And, yes I strongly believe he remained calm because he knew if he tried to initiate a debate with Ben then we would have had his ass handed to him.

You would rather have American troops die just so our “allies won’t get sad. That is sick. He is putting America first and is the most anti war president we have had in a long time.
@louis leuellyn People like you are the reason I voted for him. People who talked a lot like you are right now have also informed me very 'thoughtfully' that I needed to be beaten bloody and left to die in the street, put in a cage (that would probably kill me, I was raised wild with three square acres and wandering the immediate outside area for a mile or two in any direction when I was seven years old), put in a Concentration Camp, ankle-monitored, rejected and shunned from society, not allowed to go to school, or buy food, vote or go to ANY public building. They've also informed me that I'm an ape half-breed, any variety of friendly names like whore, slut, bitch, cunt and others. It's funny though, they never said I shouldn't pay taxes, the irony is one small amusement. It's laugh or cry and I know which I pick.
I would like to know what other nation in the entire world would erect or allow the statues of traitors to be placed in public? The simple fact of the matter is that all confederate soldiers were literally "traitors", not just rebels. They supported and assisted in the death of American Army soldiers and Navy sailors who they fought against during the civil war. What country would put statues of enemies in public places, none. It is a disgrace to the US soldiers and sailors that fought and died during the civil war that any of the statues were ever allowed.
Everyone is biased and everyone is a hypocrite in some way. People can be biased and still speak truth. How people don't understand this simple concept is beyond me. Lemon definitely doesn't.

No one destroyed each other, they had a respectful and civil discussion and conversation. let me make something very clear; as a man of southern blood, I can absolutely confirm that the confederate flag does not stand for racism. It is a symbol of southern life, culture, and freedoms. Nobody in the south took pride in slavery, for it was simply a tool to give them their money. Slavery actually HURT a lot of people in the south, a common misconception is that everybody in the south was pro-slavery and owned slaves. I hate it when snowflakes see my flag, and immediately akin it to a swastica because they remember seeing that flag being flown by confederate soldiers 162 years ago. Sickening what they classify my culture as, they don't know us at all.
Chris. I too think the Lee Hitler comparison is stupid. I would think Lee compares more with Napoleon, similar tactics in military campaigns both complexed deeply flawed but brilliant individuals. Obviously they did have have their bad sides, Lee was brutal to his slaves and Napoleon was kinda a scumbag. That said I take those two over Hitler who wanted to exterminate an entire race of people. I see no evidence of Lee wanting to exterminate African Americans during the Civil War

At this point, 41 people agree with you ... However, 8,773 people agree that Lemon was proved to be wrong. Not "just" an opinion... it's pure fact and provable, quite easily. Any questions?
No questions. It is just that more than 8000 conservatives have pre- disposed biases that make them inclined to dislike liberals, and Black liberals in particular like Don Lemon. thus, they will justify to themselves that Ben Shaprio won a debate in which he clearly did not. Just because a majority of people agree wit something does not mean that it is correct. Any questions?
Ben Shapiro laughed because he thought the same way as you. If you have a point of view or an opinion about a certain thing, then you are biased. Bias defined as having a particular tendency, feeling, or opinion.
I would also then ask Lemmon why he and other Blacks would become a member of the party that traditionally started the KKK and held back the civil rights movement. Using his logic regarding Jews and Ben as examples
A "point" of view is inherently biased, as it is viewing a situation from a limited perspective, ergo a "point", as opposed to subscribing to researching the "view", which includes all facts, testimony, etc. A "point" of view excludes the innumerable amount of "points of views" that exist outside of that single point of view, and therefore, saying that you have a point of view at all means that you are excluding other views, or are biased towards accepting your own point of view over the views that are excluded. Reporters can do two things, objective reporting (reporting the "view") or opinionated reporting (reporting the "point of view"). Opinionated reporting is fine, when marked as opinionated, and vice versa. Don failing to understand that a "point of view" is not synonymous with the objective "view" is why you can't trust anything from the people preaching "My truth"; In definition, the statement "My truth" is actually "My opinion", and "My opinion" = "My point of view", which is (obviously) not the objective "truth" that they claim to be referring to when justifying "their truth". In conclusion, Don, you biased, bc you don't even know what bias is. Boom roasted (didn't know how to end this lol)
@@jacqueskuno323 You couldn't have said it better! Absolutely ridiculous how he made that statement. Goes to show how garbage much of the media has become
@@jacqueskuno323 No. Unless by bias you simply mean "point of view," which clearly Lemon does not. The definition of bias generally implies a prejudice, thus also a lack of fairness, which seems like the one you support. Just because you hold a point of view, doesn't automatically imply you did not consider other points of view. It is plausible you rejected them because they were untrue, irrational, less plausible. That's not prejudice, nor unfair, unless you also hold a snowflake definition of that word, implying that all opinions are equally valid. If your ideology were correct, we could never claim to have a fair justice system, as it would always be a biased one. Also, your ideology seems to reject truth, and that is self-refuting. Lastly, there can never be an "objective view" in a strict philosophical sense, as a point of view, or simply one's view, requires a subject. Here again, you hold to some non-standard fringe view that "point of view" is somehow different than "a view", while the rest of the world uses them interchangeably. Implying that there is some sort of "my objective view = truth", is literally saying "my truth", or that truth is subjective, something you berate Lemon for implying. Now, you could say that in your opinion something is true, thus objective, but it could never be that your opinion is objective as it requires a subject: you. In other words, objective truth exists outside of us and is independent of whether we recognize what that is or not. So your view, or pint of view, could reflect objective reality but you still come to this realization subjectively. "Subjective" does not imply false, albeit "objective" does imply truth. Subjective is of/from a subject, objective is of an object. An object is what it is, whether or not we can subjectively describe it accurately, or as what it is, is another matter, but our opinions are ALWAYS subjective. Do notice that when Lemon makes this statement, Ben nods in agreement. Thus, all three of us disagree with you, regardless of what we think of the actual issue being discussed here.
Jimmy Mackinnon He loves to argue.... That is his job and why he was probably called in.... He talks fast?? You don’t like him because he talks fast.. Yes he is on the offence because he is debating and trying to prove a point.

People do realize that Grant and Lee did fight together on the same side once haha. its unfortunate that Lee has been made out to be racist bigot in history. There is so much more to his story and what happened.
Shapiro said that critics of the media claim the media has a general bias and personal animus against the right and Trump, and that in this case they want to the statues to come down. Lemon initially denied it. But then, by Shapiro sort of pulling a Columbo ended up getting Lemon to, without seeming to realize the significance, fully admit that he does indeed have a bias, and a personal animus. He still says he'll leave it up to people to decide whether the statues should stay or go, but he makes it perfectly clear that he doesn't approve of their existence. It wasn't "destroy" in the sense of a fighting match. But Lemon's claims of objectivity that he began with were completely undercut, by himself, by the end.

Nobody in the south took pride in slavery, for it was simply a tool to give them their money. Slavery actually HURT a lot of people in the south, a common misconception is that everybody in the south was pro-slavery and owned slaves. 3:58 "Everyone has a point of view, it doesn't mean that you're biased" hahaha he couldn't help himself from laughing
LOL
That is a true statement. Why do you think Ben nodded in agreement?
