Anytime you put chemicals on your hair it damages it to some degree. You just have to take extra care of your hair

Make sure you shampoo after dying though

No! It will strip color. Best to shampoo 72 hour color sets. Rinsing and conditioner if fine untill​@soimsha.

There’s directions in the box. Make sure you do roots last.
When I dyed my hair burgundy it said 20 min on hair and then an extra 5 at the end for my roots

If your hair is like hers get 2. Its better to have too much than not enough.
If total time is 25 min
Do 20 on all your hair (besides 1nch of roots)
Do last 5 with dye on your roots
