Thank you so much for the two French versions and also for Cani Gonzalez. No, you are not the only person on earth to love her, me too :) For many people she sounds bland, boring, lifeless and forgettable but for me she is natural, sincere, touching, emotional and charming, that's all that matters for me. And I also disagree when people says that she has no power in the 3rd movie, I think she's powerful when she sings "Yo quiero mucho mas, mucho maaaaas que sonar !!!" at the end of the song ;) I totally understand you, the 1st Polish dub was much better than the new one, the new voice is totally uninteresting whereas the 1st voice has lot of charms.
+Julia Enter It should be difficult for people who have grown up with the 1st dubbing to watch the new one I understand. In France I'm glad they have stopped the redubs because the last redubs lack magic. I thought I was the only one who likes Cani but I'm glad you also like her :)
Well it's really weird to watch a film with different voices. Like, when you remember those voices from childhood, they simply sound right to you. Even if you don't like or simply don't care about them they are just natural. In this case, I looooove the voices, but for example in "Snow White" 1938 I simply don't care so much and yet this dubbing is just... right - I think it's the best word to describe it. And now with those different voices you just don't "feel" the film. Generally I prefer the first dubs, most of them have more charm and maybe I'm a little old-fashioned xD

So many people think that the redubs are better just because it's new and "fresh" and that the first dubs are old-fashion and uninteresting but that's wrong. For my part, in my country, I think that the new dubs from the end of the 90's and beginning of the 2000's lack magic, charm and class that the first dubs or the redubs from the 70's, 80's or beginning of the 90's had
I got barbie films for Saint Nicolas( Sinterklaas) on the evening of december 5th. So much nostalgia... I always watched those movies immediately on that evening. Did you do that as well? Watching the dvd immediately?
