I have been looking at small tractors for several months and have really had my eyes on the T264. There are not many real-life application videos of the T264 out there so I appreciate yours. Looking forward to more on the T264.
I have owned many tractors over my lifetime. Five different subcompacts. The TYM T264 tractor is a step up from a subcompact. It weighs more, lifts more, and pulls more; however, it has only a slightly bigger footprint. It will do a lot of work in a small package. Probably the best price point for this size tractor with a super warranty. I will be dropping another video Friday of me running the woodchipper and then a tiller video the following week.
@@TonysTractorAdventure nice! (Good name too!) I'm very strongly considering one of these, but live about 2.5 hours northeast of Atlanta and there are no dealers nearby. Would you be concerned about the nearest dealer being 3 hours away and what should I expect to pay for Tractor/Loader and/or Tractor/loader/backhoe?
Boy! It does have a great sound to it!! Yeah, that FEL is stonger then I would of thought for that size tractor. I really can't wait to see how it does tilling! Have a great week my friend!
It seems like a really good size for a small hobby farm. If I didn't already own a number of implements sized for a 40 hp machine I would seriously consider one of those. TYM builds a nice tractor. So I would expect it to be well sorted.
I have a TYM T494. I have beet juice in the rear tires. That added 1300 pounds. And I put my box blade on. Another 700 pounds. The back tires stay on the ground now. I like the auto throttle too. TYM builds a pretty solid tractor.
TYM gave this to me to DEMO. I have to return this unit, so I can't add to or take away. We have asked for a long term demo for the channel. We shall see?
LOL work it like you stole it !!! GReat punchline intro !!! LOL Nice looking tractor I really like the rear wheel tractor thickness !!! Great tractor hydraulic pump !!! Keep up the good work Cheers !!!
I ended up buying the TYM T264. I have sold my LS Tractors. TYM is the up and coming company. I am biased, but TYM Tractors is a solid tractor. They back it up too.
Pretty amazing machine. Can we assume it's a 26 hp machine by the model number? Auto throttle sounds like an interesting option too. Nice review for a brand new machine. Thanks for having fun for all of us. Lisa
I know the existing 60 inch belly mower is welded construction very heavy built.I did hear a rumor that it would be on the T 264 at some point. Take that with a grain of salt.
It is the same HP as the MT125, but the transmission is much bigger. I think that lets TYM have stronger gearing solution. Kind of like the XJ2025 except the TYM T264 has more power in high range.
No worries. The video doesn't do it justice. It is as big or bigger than others in this size. If you want a full size cab, you will need a full size tractor. This is in the compact size tractor.
It looks like a great tractor. Why do people put a land size limit on tractors though? Wouldn't it be able to do the same jobs on a 50 acre or whatever size piece of land as it can on a 5 acre lot?
@Cameron, it is based this way as a general rule. Tractors and people wear out as their hours increase. If you have a 50 acre pasture, it would take four to five days to mow it with the T264 going 10 hours each day. A T574 could mow it in a long day.
@@TonysTractorAdventure ah fair enough. I'm looking into tractors at the moment but won't be doing any mowing so hadn't considered that. I do have a long driveway that needs work though so I guess it would be a similar concept.
I like it a lot so far. If it was mine to keep, I would add brush guard cover over the front somehow. the arms sticking up does an OK job, but I like a full brush guard for the kind of work I do.
The big ones. If it comes with the mid mount mower, they have the smaller set. The new T25 which is replacing the T264 will have the bigger tires with mid mount mowers. The have stretched the frame allowing for more room in the T25. They will hit the market in end of March
Tony. Could you please share what brand tiller you have on the T264? I'm in Idaho and am considering buying a T264 and would like to know what tiller you recommend before I purchase. Thanks in advance. Butch in Idaho
No one can truly tell you that about any tractor. It is different by job type and how the operator uses it. Much like a car. I find the T264 to be easy on fuel. I hope this helps.
Tony, loving your channel. I’m looking to replace my BX with something more capable. Your videos on the T264 are a great showcase for that tractor. Its a sexy looking tractor. It’s definitely on my short list. It has a sweet spot for size and looks pretty capable. The stats show the ground clearance at 7.8 inches. That number seems low, I wonder where they are measuring from. Since I’m looking for a tractor to do some tree and firewood work on 10 acres. I’ll be blazing and building trails as I go. Do you think the ground clearance is adequate for light to moderate off roading? Thanks and God Bless.
I have had mine all over the place. The T264 is a conventional tractor. Not very much to damage on the low underside. I have not had a problem and I work it hard.
Does this tractor have two or three range transmission? TYM does not sell the T263 in Australia. They sell the T273 which I’d imagine is an older model.
Does this tractor have a mid PTO and a midmount mower option?I have also heard that Bad Boy will soon sale a tractor made by TYM. Do you know if that is true?
@@TonysTractorAdventure i asked about the TYM Bad Boy partnership because I have a local Bad Boy dealer and that would give me another option of a tractor dealer within 25 miles of where I live. The Bad Boy partnership is through the Branson line of tractors and is just a test. I know of one Bad Boy dealer that will carry both TYM and Branson. Both tractor lines are owned by TYM, but are different tractors in many ways.
Tony's Tractor Adventure thanks for your response I didn’t realize the two tractors were different. I have never looked at either brand just knew TYM owned both and assumed they were the same!!! Your information is very much appreciated
I am not sure. Most likely a month or so. I ask them to put one on my channel for a longer term. I guess if they think I am fair with my video they will.
It is much wider than a John Deere using the Yanmar engine. I love Yanmar engines but they rev very high and are very loud. The Kukje engine tops out at twenty-six hundred RPMs making 24.8 horsepower. Yanmar pops out at almost 3,000 RPMs to make the same horsepower. I will say this though, Yanmar is bulletproof.
Absolutely you can add rim guard. If this was my tractor, I definitely would do that but since it's just a demo I'm taking it as it come. I believe in the video I spoke of loading the tires.

Thank you. I am enjoying mine.
Nice demo, Tony. That baby has some power and as you said, it's nice and quiet. Will standby for Part 2. Full-watch and enjoy your week.
I think it will pick up what it is rated for and more with a ballast in the back like a rotary cutter or backhoe.

Thank you Mom.
Nice machine! The throttle system is great to have in my opinion. Thanks for sharing!
I fell in love with the throttle first thing. That is one neat feature.
I bought one of these 2 months ago, I had back tires filled they hold 240 lbs each tire. Made a nice difference.
I think loaded rear tire is a must for this Tractor. The loader is really strong for its size. Something heavy on the back too.
Where do you go get them filled
Coop. Tractor Dealer

Part of my agree is I can't promote another brand while I have it. I can just show it work. Free Tractor, I am okay with that.
@@TonysTractorAdventure So I guess we won't be seeing any LS videos for awhile than.
Unless at an AG show, probably not. LS makes a great tractor though. I wished they had stepped up and demo a new tractor on my channel.
I'm trying to make up my mind between the two. The tym seems to have few more features for little less money then something like the 225

Lisa, It is 24.8 HP. Sorry, I did not get back to you. We have been on the road for 14 days. Busy time of year.
Really good video 👍
Thank you.
Is the 264 capable of taking out say 4 to 5 inch trees...stumps
Absolutely with a backhoe. It is hard to answer much more than that. Some tree species have shallow roots and others go to China.
Great video! Keep them coming

Great demo

Saw a dealer here local had It as a option for the tractor but they show it as a $3300 option
They do offer the mid mount mower. I like, but I went with the rear mount mower
@@TonysTractorAdventure which rear mount did you get? Can you do a video going around some trees?

It has a true hydraulic cooler on the front

So that's what TYM stands for, sounds great!
TYM is a lot easier to say. Great little tractor.
Hi. Tony ,what type of canopy would you put on your Tym 264 tractor if you were too do so.
I have not crossed that bridge yet. I am going to wait until it is 110 degrees. 😁😁😁
Tony, the reason I asked about the canopy, is the way it is shaped, what canopy would even fit it. Thanks
I think that is why I am procrastinating.
Tony, do you know what size rear ballast weight is suggested to carry a full load? (For the T264)
I loaded my rear tires and use the Big Tool Rack loaded. The BTR weighs about 1000 pounds loaded. That is my go to when lifting the big stuff.
Does the sloping nose improve visibility?
I forgot to mention that. I can see the forks better than any other tractor I have used. Great landscaper Tractor.

Just don't like the grille guard - looks like it is halfway finished.
It not my favorite way of doing it. I would probably add a more robust guard.
It did do its job when I pushed brush, but I have to work within the limits of the tractor.
Impressive for 25hp
I agree. It acts more like a 30hp Tractor.
