@RaphAngy he might be the most realistic character in terms of reactions, just about how a human would act in front of something that doesn’t fit in his reality. I like his character design, He is also pretty badass not gonna lie!

Lol the show never explains but Zenitsu basically has performance anxiety when he's awake, which is why he can't do what he was taught. but when he sleeps his survival instinct takes over and everything he practiced comes into effect. Same as with sports, singing, playing the piano and etc lol you can practice alone all you want but when you get on the big stage if you're mind gets to you then you forget everything you're taught until you cancel out the noise,. But since its anime zenitsu basically perfected his 1 form so much that he can do it in his "sleep" when his life on the line😂
