I genuinely don't have any wish for David and Paul to work together again - they were brilliant ... that was their moment and they took it it was amazing and now that moment has gone. BUT I am so glad they're reconciled and it's lovely to see David being so generous about someone he fell out with so badly. Lovely stuff.

Baddiel has this unfair reputation of being arrogant and smarmy, he's actually a really nice bloke.

Baddiel seems to get rather a Bad Press from some reviewers and even some of his contemporary comedians. On the evidence of this interview, this seems rather unfair? I think Mr Baddiel, (whose comedy work I enjoy and whose novels I've read...) comes across as quite a Lovely Bloke... xx SF

Once knew a left wing comic who use to slag DB off but having watched this its now got me thinking why ! Certainly not had the privileged back ground I thought he had had.

I do enjoy these interviews but James, could you edit down your non essential responses,yeah mmmm etc as it spoils the flow of your guest speaking. And try not to interrupt if there's a good story unfolding. Otherwise top marks

I suppose we could just forget Brexit or being part of the EU ever happened, and just struggle along as a result of Brexit. That way, those that voted and instigated Brexit don't have to justify it...

Every time Baddiel starts telling a story, winds up to the point he's intending to make, TC O'Brien jumps in and cuts him off!
JOB is a terrible interviewer. He's trying to interject - adding nothing to the conversation - to pretend he's the intellectual equal to DB. It's odious. He needs to get out of the way.
Just shave your head James. Its a losing battle.

David Baddiel reminds me of Michael Palin. Both thoroughly nice blokes, but what Eric Cantona called the 'water carriers'. Utility players, team players who did their bit, but were never the star. But whilst Palin always comes across as self depricating he is loved, but Badiell epitomised the faux new Labour luvvie smug mockney lads of the 90s, the middle class boy who would support Arsenal one day and Man U the next, bit like Blair pretending he liked Newcastle or Jonathan Freedland visiting Highbury. And it made him really unlikeable. And to say Haberdasher's Aske is a minor private school is nonsense.

Wow. I was so impressed by Baddiel. I thought his contribution was fascinating. Not at all impressed by JOB - but really enjoyed DB (less so the band bit).

James O'brien claims to be anti racist, but does interviews with a man who black faces and is calls Irish travellers the P word. All this is evidenced on live TV and videos on TH-cam. James OB, I no longer respect you!

O'Brien is the most racist person you could meet. Completely condescending to black people and has no idea about black culture. The guy needs to understand that it's not just middle class white people in the world. And here he is having no problem interviewing someone who has committed the most vile racist acts.
