I think you are saying g5 check,,not g6,,,but After queen takes rook , white king must take the rook,,if he play g5 check, then rook will take g5 pawn,,fxg5,,kxg5
@@Lemon-qs3uz did you see the title? And I think that the world record is over 200, so this result, even though it's great, but it's not something to brag about that much
@@mstfici2685 I think top 1 is actually a mammothly harder task than even getting from 100 to 10, or 10 to 2. Carlsen's rating kept rising until about 2882 when it then plateaued around 2855. Can Alireza keep increasing his rating for another 80 points? That's his biggest test yet. Many other players have gotten to 2,800 but only a couple have gotten over 2,850. Carlsen and Kasparov.
I thought, when top GMs look at a puzzle, they would immediately see the pattern and solve it. It turns out, they have to take time to think about it, the same way I do it. 😁
12:45, alireza just mention if queen takes f3,there's g5 check, how come the solution is queen takes f3 if there's g5 check threat where it's king to h5 and queen takes h7 checkmate, can someone explain to me?
Can someone explain puzzle 84? When the black queen takes the white rook rook it seems as if there is no check so white has forced mate in 2 with the g pawn check and queen takes pawn on h7 mate. Why would the white king take the black rook in that position?
The existence of the h pawn causes the endgame to be lost for black because white can use the queen to make the black king tied to the pawn (otherwise the pawn is lost and white will quickly win). Essentially you set up a scenario where you trap the black king in the corner and you can set up a checkmate with the queen alone by stalemating the king and forcing pawn moves from black to set up the corner checkmate. This is just a summary of white’s win. If you don’t understand my summary, please let me know which part of it is hard to understand.
After Qxf2, there is Qd5+ and for example Kh8, then Qxe4, which also defends the g2 square, preventing mate. Black loses a piece, the queen is under attack and the pawn is about to promote. So if I am not missing anything, Qxf2 is actually a huge blunder.
