Broken DeWalt Angle Grinder 110V AC TO 20V DC Conversion Cord → Cordless Restoration

- Last year, I planned to fix this angle grinder, but it was left unused because the rotor was damaged. Today, I swapped the rotor with a brushless motor and driver, so now it can run on a 20V lithium battery.

You have recovered well and well. everything is wonderful. I have been repairing machines like this for 25 years. But now I see Chinese products sold very cheaply, a device without a battery like this costs 10 USD, a good device only costs about 20 USD to bring home. 10 batteries are sold for 7 USD. Recharge the battery for $2. People buy it and use it, but if it breaks, it's considered scrap. Now I still find it difficult to accept correction. Buy accessories for $10, repair time takes 1 day

If I build a grinding machine like yours and run it with a 775 motor with a Makita 18 volt 3 amp battery. There is no chance of my ground battery being damaged by this grinding machine. thank you

Many things here i find myself with disagreement:
Please don't go painting the plastic, just restore it properly. Paint will chip with use, and it looks like unhealthy mustard instead of dewalt wasp yellow.
The motor has 3 frontal mounting holes, instead of welding, it would be far better to make a proper mounting plate and screw motor onto it.
As for the end result, good work.
