I really think it's because of social media and the internet. Everyone from your politicians and world leaders to your friends and acquaintances at school and work are trolling and looking for clickbait on TikTok, Twitter, and TH-cam. These NBA players deal with all of the media bullshit for 365 days a year non-stop. So Guillermo pulling up during a hard earned trip to the finals and asking some ridiculous questions isn't even that weird anymore.
