I'm not a beach person either but I do enjoy sightseeing. I enjoy eating out but "foodie" places are generally wasted on me.

My wife and I did a little vacation at Vero Beach in 2019 with some left over DVC points. It was amazing! It was a nice change from the every day life of WDW in Orlando. I didn't expect myself to have as good of a time as I did.
We love DVBR - one of our favourite DVC resorts - we tend to eat breakfast/lunch with groceries we bring and may grab quick service by the pool and maybe one meal at TS - it has not been bad but not outstanding and expensive - we prefer after a beach day, cleaning up and driving into town to enjoy one of the many local dining options - so many wonderful local restaurants - we tend to stay 10+ nights when we visit so we have lots of time to tour around
I live in Vero Beach,go to the Resort all the time,I even surf the beach 100 yards north,we love it here!
What months are you able to swim at Vero? Is the beach too cold Jan to April?

When I tell you: this crew is not only fun but hilarious. Love the serial killer artwork😂. PETE HAS NO CHILL! I keep coming back for the rehab references (I can relate;) and endless shade, with a sprinkle of DVC talk. Another excellent video. I’m in Disney for the first time in 20 years right now and these channels have a lot to do with why I love it so much. Keep it up✊🏿❤️🙌🏿🙏🏿

We Love Vero. Coming from Wellington, FL. It's a great getaway for a short drive.
We started going to Vero to split our vacation between there and WDW (OKW first). It is nice to relax after WDW. We always eat dinner offsite.

Can you provide a list of those great Vero Beach restaurants? We were unaware of them when we stayed there in 2019. Also, I recommend DO NOT park in the "underground" parking b/c it is a very tight space (designed for smaller cars, not today's CRV's). Just park in the parking lot. :-)
Ocean Grill about ten minutes away
Ocean grill steak was “like buttah”. The best.

We LOVE Vero Beach DVC resort! It’s especially wonderful to chill after a WDW trip. Can’t wait to go back! We prefer Vero over Hilton Head because the ocean is right there...not a long walk or drive away, as with HH.

I’m curious as to why Disney chose the Atlantic coast, as opposed to the Gulf coast, to build a beach front resort.
Is it closer to the port for DCL/their excursion islands? It's closer if you hang at Vero for a few days before getting on a cruise.

This place has 0 appeal for me.. I live in Sarasota with better beaches and better seaside resorts. Waste of DVC points here IMO.
