    I have stayed there & there is absolutely nothing to do there. This is a rich man’s retirement town. There is 1 seafood restaurant that cost $200 a dinner & $20 coke. My husband & I got up with our 3 kids after spending a full week at a deluxe 5 star Contemporary Resort in Magic Kingdom vacation that cost $8000.00 at that time. Which we did every Christmas. Then onto Veros home away from home & we ventured outside to said restaurant tried paying for our drinks while the waitress would not except because even she understood & we left. We went back over to the mainland & found Lobster Shanty on the water & it was fabulous. Other than that nothing for kids which I understand but even for my husband (triple war vet 2003-2009) & I there were no reason what so ever to make that place home away from home again! This resort must have been put there for specific older demographic that may or may not be in that area but definitely retired people. We owned a suite for 5 & we bought it free & clear & decided to sell it & we didn’t even want to pass it down to our children.

    Great video Rob. I became a DVC member in ‘96. We spend a week every year at Vero. We love that it’s Disney with great Disney service without the crowds and stress of a WDW vacation. Interestingly enough, our kids and now grandchildren prefer going to Vero over the parks.

      I’m not sure what the rack rate is, but we rented DVC points. You can check David’s Vacation Club Rentals and DVC Rental Store. Always look at their listings for reservations that are already booked for the best deals (that’s what we did), but you have to be more flexible with your dates. Thanks for watching! 😃

    Hi Rob! I wanted to ask for some advice. My dad and I are going to Disney World July 27th to celebrate both our birthdays! We have one day park hopper passes and plan to go Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom (sorry Animal Kingdom! 😅) We plan to end our night at Magic Kingdom but I can't decide if we should go to Epcot or Hollywood Studios first! We want to ride as many rides as possible and we will be using Genie+. Don't plan on meeting characters or going to shows, nor staying at a Disney Resort so no early access but we will try to get there at rope drop. Thanks so much and LOVE your videos! ❤ You really helped me understand Genie+ as it has been several years since we've gone so it will be our first time using it!

    • @EarScouts
      @EarScouts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! That sounds like an EPIC Disney day. 😅 If you are okay with getting an Individual Attraction Lightning Lane for Guardians at Epcot, I would start with Hollywood Studios. When you don’t start in Epcot, you can’t try for the Virtual Queue until 2pm and at that point, they’re pretty much always gone. Same goes for TRON at MK. Also note that you are limited to 2 Individual Attraction Lightning Lanes per person per day, so you wouldn’t be able to purchase for Rise of the Resistance if you did TRON and Guardians. The reason I say start at Hollywood Studios is twofold: first, there are a lot more heavy hitter attractions that you need the Genie for at Hollywood Studios than there are at Epcot. If Slinky is on your list, book that first right at 7am because it will back up into the late afternoon within minutes (sometimes even in seconds). The second reason is transportation. You can take the Skyliner from DHS to Epcot and then the monorail from Epcot to MK, so it’s nice to experience the different forms of transportation. You could even get out at the Transportation and Ticket Center (where you stop between Epcot and MK) and walk over to the ferry and use that to complete your journey to the Magic Kingdom. Hope you have an amazing day!

    Hi Rob! I would love to know your thoughts on transportation between EPCOT and AK. Bus? Car? Uber?

    • @EarScouts
      @EarScouts  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Sara! If I’m staying at a Disney resort, I prefer to use the bus because it drops me closer than I can park and I can take the bus back to the resort at the end of the night. If I’m not at a resort, I prefer to drive so my car is at the park where I end the day and I can easily get home. Keep in mind if you don’t have an AP and you’re staying at a non-Disney hotel, you will have to pay for parking, so in that scenario, it may be more cost-effective to just Uber to get there and back, but I’d save some $$$ and use the Disney bus to hop.
