- Powerful tornadoes carved a path of destruction in parts of the Midwest. Homes and businesses were destroyed or damaged after they touched down in Nebraska and Iowa. #shorts
The fact people keep driving towards it baffles me.

Sometimes, bosses tell their employees that anyone who ditches work to avoid the tornado will be fired.
I would guess that it’s because they feel like they don’t have a choice and have to get to their destination

As a Trucker, nothing is scarier than this.
I would imagine since y'all are on the road so much therefore more likely to be exposed to them. It notable that most of the SMART people pulled over on the side of the road, instead of driving towards the tornado are those with big trucks.

@@tigrrtomI grew up in NH right in the middle of the White Mountains - I think tornadoes are insanely fascinating to watch _on a screen_ but I’d probably die of fright if I happened to see one in person. I live just a few miles from downtown Portland Maine now. I used to be absolutely terrified of thunderstorms, well the lightening part. Now I miss the *feeling* of the thunder as it hasn’t got any mountains to bounce its sound off…

Well, when you're obsessed with spending plenty of money & brainpower on outerspace fantasy exploration hobbies, the big kids ( thugs ) playing children's ball games ⚾️🏈🏀⚽️ getting several millions upon millions of dollars per year, idiotic Hollywood BS movies and shows, the Indi-500 nonsense and ultra crazy military weaponry expenditures there's not much left over to spend on building proper tornado proof homes and structures for our own people to live without fear and disasters.
