No mystery. He's been ranked too high since last season. He was a dud last season, save for 1 or 2 good games. He's better on paper but just doesn't get the opportunities from the QB.

Exactly. I think the steelers' defense could end up being the best defense in the league if they stay healthy. They are not a good match-up for fantasy.
And they had Joey Porter Jr shadowing London all game. Straight clamps. Going to be tough to start a WR1 or QB against them in fantasy.

Look at y’all trying to be slick trying to find the next Jamar Chase, Jefferson, or Ceedee brotha the reason those cats were winners was the value you got them at. Cannot draft a rookie that high he’ll return on value 2nd half of the SZN but why draft him that high when you can draft others and just trade for him when that team who took him early is on the verge of missing playoffs.

I expect absolutely NOTHING for the first 2 weeks of every fantasy football season. If I escape 1-1, that's totally great. There's a huge amount of NFL vets that don't even start hitting their stride until about week 3. There's a lot of guys who absolutely hate off season training, no matter what they say.
Problem with that theory is there’s a ton of NFL vets that don’t get it going by week 3.

Fellas fellas…. Don’t stress about Drake London! It’s not every week he has to face THE BEST defense in the league. Learn from this tho, if your players are playing against the Steelers, expect a low fantasy day.
This week is 100% a glaring demo of just how hard it is to play QB in the NFL. Defenses are fresh, healthy and hungry. While young QBs are pampered, untested, and psychologically unprepared. Even the more humble one's are blindsided by just how much their egos are holding them back from handling the challenge of the NFL. College has become a machine that pumps out divas and under developed talents, because offenses in college will retool the entire playbook to fit the talents of the QB. Guess what, at the NFL level, his talents are never going to outlast the relentless beast that is NFL defense. They gotta start training the ego out of these kids and concentrate on sticking to TEAM fundamentals

The Atlanta situation is just baffling honestly. If their plan was to draft Penax all along they should have used the money they spent on Cousins elsewhere and just said Penax is our guy with the new coach. If the plan wasn't to draft Penax...it's even more head scratching and they basically just wasted the pick and all the money on Cousins, lol. Just a weird management situation in Atlanta and they should have seen this coming with Cousins coming off the injury and not playing in the preseason, not to mention the Steelers defense is REALLY good and Cousins has the mobility of a statue.
I'm in 2 leagues, thankfully I only needed Puka to get like 2 catches to win in one, but in the other(2 QB superflex) I caught the guy who had Lamar Jackson and Anthony Richardson....and I had Evan Engram and Cleveland D combine for 2 points while Puka got hurt, and Mahomes had a dud game 1 scoring wise.
Cooper Kupp was my most drafted player on underdog this year at like 45%. Prime Cooper Kupp is back and I'm about to print money this year

The disappointments that stood out to me was the Kincaid, Harrison and London. Kincaid was in a game where they were playing from behind and had to pass and Josh Allen did NOT target him. Harrison & London were big deals because SO MANY people drafted them so HIGH. Not surprised about Mostert, Andrews, Diontae, Javonte or JSN at all and I avoided all of them like the plague in all my drafts. Caleb, McLaurin and Olave will see better days.

@@adamhawn2523 the only reason I don’t worry about him (as much) is because he will command his targets. He has always been a boom or bust player that won’t change, but he will definitely get the lions share of first looks and you can lock him in for 8-10 targets every week.

cause everyone always hates on the cardinals for no reason. I think they are generally underrated. I know they will lose a lot of games but nearly every cardinals game is frisky and has a lot of points on both sides.

Player production was low for most players this week, especially for quarterbacks, alot of them couldn't even throw for 200 yards. I believe its because everyone was pumped about football finally starting and the betting sites took advantage of the over bets. Now if everyone bet the under we would see better numbers.

While the Olave thing sucks, I think it’s not a massive red flag because they literally got production out of every offensive weapon they tried, so they didn’t need to lean on their top guy. I think against real teams, he should be relied on more and as a result put up more production

I don’t take too much from the Falcons vs Steelers game. Steelers are tough on defense especially against non-mobile QB’s, and TJ Watt is a monster.

I lost this week. I had Stroud, Taylor, Kamara, Waddle, Godwin, Laporta, Kyren, Chiefs Defense, and Jake Moody. My matchup has Josh, Saquon, Achane, Garrett Wilson, Malik Nabers, Mark Andrews, Zamir White, Detroit Defense, and Jake Elliott. I'm down 9 and I have Moody and they still have Garrett but out of the 10 teams I had the 3rd most points this week, just played against the 2nd highest scoring team. I got second last year because I got Stroud, Puka, Kyren Williams, and James Cook off waivers super early after drafting terribly (Keenan Allen and Nick Chubb) and I don't think my opponents will let me get as lucky this year.

Started week 1 on the good foot I had Achane Hill Kupp and Bears D that did great for me im winning by 42 points with Deebo and Purdy still left to play against a guy who only has his kicker going tonight easy win the funny thing is not that it matters but in a 10 man league after the draft i was projected the 10th best roster and the guy I'm playing has the number 1 projected roster shows how accurate projection are especially because i was 10th last year and also won my league

Blame it on Kirko Chains. I am actually surprised after watching him for the past several seasons. He was playing at a very high level prior to his injury last season. I thought he could be the diffence in Atlanta. It's early, obviously time for him to gel with his new team.

I’m not stressing too hard over 1 game’s results. It’s a reminder to temper expectations for rookies and of the weekly variance of the league. Let’s see what trends develop over the next couple weeks.
I think the Vikings will utilize Jones more in close games. They got out front quick and went away from him (Gaskin got a few carries too) I think jones is going to have a good year in Minnesota!
Seeing chaos erupt over week 1 is hilarious and stressful at the same time. Expecting every player to be great week 1 is unrealistic and it never happens but everyone forgets that, and you’re worried in the back of your mind.

Classic week 1 for the past 5 seasons. Teams use the lesser players weeks 1 and/or 2 and then rely heavy on their stars. week 13-16 they start to lean on lesser players again to give an extra rest day for their stars.
