Praying is the answer for everything, and thankfulness, you are right. I sometimes forget. Those chickens are called silkies and they're flesh are black, so they are just for pretty and maybe there eggs. But they are so cute. Thank you for your friendship.
Good evening Katinka, I am so glad that you had this precious time with your sister, and that you could be there for her, as two heads are better than one at sharing a problem. I hope that she left feeling oh so much better in herself and with a little bit more hope. I haven't had any family left since i was 47 and miss that feeling, knowing that i wasn't alone and i definitely don't recommend it. It must be good having your sisters and even though your can't always see them, the modern technology makes it possible to still see them and chat to them, in good times and bad. You can get to see those firsts' that a new baby does, or seeing a niece at her graduation, things that you can never get back, but you can still be apart off, many miles and continents apart. Well, if you manage your goal of making all your summer breeze wardrobe up this week, that will make more time for more adventures and more sewing time that you didn't have, or in my books, more fun time. I am trying to use up scraps at the moment to make up message/shopping bags for my little charity that i am a member off. These little roll up bags are ideal for your handbag and take up very little space, but can carry so much back in them. My friend came in the other day and realised that i just might have enough things in my house to open up my own little shop of all things craft. I have been looking out for a new sewing machine that can both sew and embroider, but it must have a large throat space for me quilting my quilts.. I am now the proud owner of a Brother XP3 Luminaire and i am fair jumping with joy, because it is past my wildest dreams of ever having the good fortune to own one. I got it second hand at under one year old because the lady that bought it wanted a 10 needle embroidery machine. I don't care if someone else had it first, it was in brand new condition, as if it had never been used and i love it, even if it will take me a long time to master everything that it can do. So you see, me making the bags from remenants, i am trying out all the new things that my baby can do. My old machines have gone to the charity and my eldest daughter, who both are in awe of as they were both Disney embroidery machines, so full of fun. I am going to stop yapping now and keeping you back, but sending you crafty hugs from Scotland lovely lady, from Norah

Katinka, when I get monkey brain I always go out into the garden to pick weeds and watch the birds and squirrels....that seems to calm me down. Cannot wait to see all the outfits you are going to sew. Have you got the fabrics yet or do you have to go shopping? Always love that you show us all of your travels.
Hi Katinka! I’m like you - water calms me down. Something about the waves just does it for me. Also, where I am, there are lots of birds and ducks around which I also love to be around.

Okay, so those birds were adorable 😀 Looking forward to seeing what you create this week. I got stymied last week on the collar/front facing on Vogue 9000 so I've ripped it and re-marked. A walk by the river is my rejuvenation go to. Water and tree covered shade are so healing.
