The textured trees look ok. The champagne spray paint may help bring them up to Pottery Barn status. Definitely not a fail.

The DIY was a cool project. The textures spray paint is difficult to use and get the look you want for sure, but I think the two little trees came out cute.

There needs to be a Goodwill style store for influencers only to donate their stuff lol it’s like new. Especially all the PR some get and get rid of.
I sing a long, the tube videos with Christmas music always give me that happy feelings.I think everything looks good.My bath room is beachy so they would look really good in there.

Keep the dollar spot sleigh. I have several from a few years ago and saw an at home with Ramon video where he used them on his Christmas tree as oversized ornaments. I spray painted them to match my decor and glued a napkin ring from Hearth and Hand that looks like a wreath on them. They look amazing in my Christmas tree and definitely make a statement.

This was a great video. I loved your DIY ideas. I don’t think the stone texture looked sandy at all (I wouldn’t even have had the courage to try it). Someone said it look like snow, maybe you could do a dusty of white). I’m looking forward to the decorate with me video. 🥰

If it weren't for Rae Dunn I might not have gotten to know you here on YT so I am happy I found you waaaayyyy back when 😉 I have very little of RD - but I really enjoy the pieces I have. I do covet getting a few others - but if I don't I'll be okay. One thing I really really want is the mug set that say Senor and Senora. My sister-in-law is from Puerto Rico, and I think that would be a great gift for her and my brother. Searching over a year lol.

I think the stone texture would work if you paired it with a glitter spray. THEN I think it would look like snow instead of sand. Or maybe if you did some of the primer white on top of it? Then it might have more of a snowy texture? Honestly, to me it looks like it would have the texture of something I couldn't touch, if you know what I mean? I know you have the same thing that I do about THAT texture.
Cute cute cute! I used the stone spray paint before on ceiling tiles that I used for wall decor and loved how it looked. I thought your trees you spray painted looked great!

The this house believes sign is so pretty in that color! I've seen people use the textured spray paint and then take watered down chalk paint to make it look more like stone. It may be reading more as sand since it's a solid color and has that kind of texture. If you varied the color some w/other colors in the scheme you're wanting you may like it better! Just a thought!

I admire your ability to decide to donate so quickly. I always think maybe I'll need it next year. I think the stone trees look great. If you're disappointed maybe you could try adding some champagne or clear colored glitter.

I think a rip that could help you (from my grandma who diys things a has experience with spray paint :) ) is to hold the bottle at least 10 inches from whatever you’re spray painting, bc firstly the paint won’t drip and it’ll be a more even, less saturated coat of spray paint and you can always build it up that way. I think that may be why the “stone” spray paint didn’t work as well, bc you sprayed it too close so it was more textured than you wanted. That’s just my thoughts :)

Loved your DIYS. They turned out great. I was wondering when you were spray painting on your little piece of card board if you had to clean the cement on your balcony. I am always worried about extra over spray when I spray paint. Loving your color choices this year.

I'm also diying this year, so fun. I think the taller tree might just need a different color so it doesn't look like sand. Also you might try the baking soda method it works so much better

Loved the video Katie!! You’ve inspired me to Decorate Donate and DIY!! I actually think they look cute!! Maybe because of the gild and sand you’re feeling them clash but I really like the textured spray I want to go buy some and see what I can do with it I’ve actually used Plaster of Paris to add texture to some old vases I had it was fun but a lot of work lol Happy Christmas decorating 🎄🎄🎄

I said they looked sandy like the souvenirs in the gift shops at the beach. However I think if you added a sprinkle of glitter and/or the champagne color they might pop a little more.
Hi Katie. I’m not crazy about the stone color of them, but I like the texture. I really think spraying them the champagne color or your dark green or adding a pretty gold glitter and ribbon would make them gorgeous.
Btw, I love your videos and always give them a thumbs up before watching them because they never disappoint.

I love this video it was amazing! A couple little tips for spray painting lol The texture spray which I think you probably figured out, needs to be sprayed on like a piece of cardboard first and shake the can a lot while you’re painting.. that could be why your second one turned out better. Another thing is I felt like you should probably cover your workspace a little bit more or it’s going to get a paint dusting on your patio furniture and railing and the ground lol spray paint travels big time! Everything looks really good though! Can’t wait to watch your decorate video! Oh and yes I sing every single Christmas song from TH-cam lol
