It is an amazing chutney for idli, dosa, upma, curd rice,Plain paratha. You can keep it in a glass bottle in the fridge,for almost 4 to 5 days

One suggestion do nt grind hot .. Mixture jar will be blast n come out.. Better to cool down n then ur grinder to grind... N yaa use more curry leaves as it will give u south taste..
Yes even i was about to write the same..... Very first time when I was trying to make such chutney on my own (before seen this video) I tried to grind the very hot one... In fact the mixie got jammed after a minute.... Do not do that mistake ever... Not only this chutney... Any similar chutneys not directly from pan..... 😁

He left the upper lid of the jar cover open. So that steam can escape. Moreover u can pulse the grinder for 2 sec that also helps

Am sure you meant mushy and mashy. Always grind when it cools down. This chutney can served with dosas, idli, plain/ghee rice or any fritters.
