Really respectable performance for a 2 liter turbodiesel hauling around a big wagon body. Very refined inside at any speed too. High speed handling is not its best quality, but it's still definitely safe and secure.
Well, if you google the specs of the A6 40 TDI quattro(C8) 204hp, the top speed is 245km/h gps(around 255km/h on the speedometer). In the video I suspect that it reached it's top speed going downhill. So, nothing really amazing. The top speed of the A6 TDI Ultra (C7) which is also 2.0L but only 190hp, has 235km/h top speed gps(around 245km/h on speedoemeter).
Als Vielfahrer im Dienstwagen, der häufig auf der A3 Richtung Frankfurt a. Main unterwegs ist muss ich sagen, dieses Auto strahlt wie kein Anderes Autorität aus.
the power of this car is just incredible in spite of the weight maybe audi and vw are not what they used to be at the level of quality but at the level of motorization the engines are still incredible
I’ve one of these cars and think that this diesel model is a very good, economical and hopefully reliable car with some imperfections. But a word of advice to the - driver - get some professional advanced car driving lesions - otherwise I can see ‘permanent sudden premature retirement’ in your future! Just to let you know - I’m professionally qualified to drive cars to their maximum extent on public roads. Enough said!
I disagree especially since Germany is the only place where the power does make a difference. The 2.0tdi is very reliable and efficient. The 3.0tdi is sadly not as reliable and the 3.0tfsi is just super inefficient compared to the diesels.
@@TopSpeedBrothers this is not old school TDI. TDI Evo has dpf, EGR, adblue, 2.5 bar intake pressure. The money you will spend on repairs for 2.0tdo Evo, you can spend on fuel for 3.0l TFSI. If you can't afford Audi A6 with the right engine, it's better to buy something like Volkswagen or Toyota. Go try out Toyota Camry 3.5l D4-S 60° V6 with 8spd Aisin transmission. You will see that fuel consumption is the same as in TDI, but dynamic force engines are much more reliable and quick.
@@TopSpeedBrothers example: Toyota Camry TRD has 177hp/T This Audi has 117hp/T. Toyota will consume 2l/100km more than Audi, but it is 2× faster and more refined. If you buy a premium car like Audi, you shouldn't care about fuel consumption. You need to also buy a premium engine for the premium car.
Best car testing channel. Finally someone who can give the car really some push. Both in the corners and really hammer it on the autobahn!

shit car. ugly as fuck... audi
I agree the 2.0tdi isn’t a bad choice for this car. I was very surprised
2.0tdi Power 💪
Never thought I would see a basic 4 cylinder diesel in a A6 go over 250, amazing top speed
Yes quite surprising

Da gebe ich dir recht wobei die Überhol Prestige beim Vorgänge Model noch besser ist
Really good performance for 2.0l diesel and such a huge and heavy vehicle.
I was impressed as well
100-150 most important parameter for real world performance!
Havent seen the top reverse speed before haha :D They should now all start testing it 😂
Remember where you saw it first 😉
As always, a great video. Thanks !
Thank you
Hi Sir :) How would you compare this car with the A5 with the same motor in terms of performance?
All in all a really nice every day car
I was really surprised that there is No soft limiter 😂 in a diesel A6
Meanwhile an RS3 has one 🤦♂️
Audi can’t make that stuff up
@187er 4immer that’s not true, a friend of mine has a 2017 A3 150ps TDI and there’s a soft limiter around 2.5K rpm.
50 km/h in reverse is crazy
Where have you been guys
It’s good to hear we have been missed. A bit difficult to get cars in the moment
One of my favorite videos! This "basic" A6 does have ambient lighting? The engine looks so strong
over all the basic A6 is a great car but crazy to see how much a basic no luxury car costs
oil temperature after 250kmh ?
what brand new b segment hatchback would you recommend? to replace my 10 year old fiesta
Perfekt car. You dont need more hp
the problem is that you can never have too much power.
After 1 month it always start to feel slow
I love your drive bro.
Thanks bro
For some reason it feels like my last car audi c7 136bhp (accel)
Decent top speed

This is impressive for 2.0 tdi
Bro is a 2.0 TDI how can go so fast
Cupra formentor 204cv plssss

E220D makes 0-200 in 32s., Audi makes it in 36,5. What performance guys are talking about?)
Quattro
0:34 (5.000rmp)
5:04
Does this car seriously weights almost 1900 kg?
The engine is severely underpowered.
This car the minimum is 3.0TFSI. if you can't afford a V6, just buy a Volkswagen.

@@TopSpeedBrothers what about S4? Worth the money? Ownership costs comparable with 50 tdi..more reliable?
