Fantastic cook Tommy! Great comparison. To the people out there that say "you're sqeezing all the juice out" pay attention, "THERE IS NO JUICE YET" that comes later. Great cook Tommy. 👍
Thanks brother!
Very interesting Tommy! I think each style of burger has its own special quality. I actually love all three.
I think you did a good job on this video. I love the comparisons that you make. Many people may not be aware that there are many different ways to make a burger.
Thanks so much for sharing!
Cheers, Dave!
Thanks for watching!
All 3 have a place in my belly.
Smashers are a dirty burger, onion mushrooms bbq sauce ect.
Weber falme grilled are classic burgers with salad mayo ect.
Reverse sear for a thick patty with high level ingredients for topping.
They are all great.
Hope you and the family are well buddy.
great post. Cheers
It's definitely hard to cook all 3 and film to have them all turn out perfect. I haven't reverse seared a burger on the pellet grill, I always smoke them at 250 for 45 to 50 minutes and that's hard to beat! If the charcoal didn't over cook, that's hard to beat as well, and man, smashburgers are just simply amazing. I can't pick as all 3 are equally delicious!!!🙂😋👍
Cheers Kev...
Smash, charcoal, smoked for me. I love the cheese/meat/cheese/meat action with the smash burger, it just delivers an exceptional bite.
Good point. Thanks-
For me, I throw a griddle plate on the Weber and smash them burgers. It gets the best out of the smash with some smoke as well. 🍔🔥🍻
Thatll work
Always gonna be good when The Gallery is cooking up burgers! Nice job on all 3 👍.
You needed Kingsford for that great charcoal flavor burger. I go kettle. 1 smash 2. Pellet 3. Plastic wrap cheese not allowed in my backyard lol
Kingsford is dog poop
lol.....
All look so good but for us we love well cooked burgers with pickles, onion, tomato, and lettus 8)
Sounds great!
Wow Tommy, Wall to Wall cooking in the 'ol Shack...🎉 To much Fun ! FastFrank-CA 😎
fun but hot! Waiting on Fall.
1.Kettle 2 Smash 3 Reverse seared. BTW, I've been using those Manchester Pellets for the past month. Love them.
Love Manchester pellets and just picked up 2 more bags. clean and smooth.
As always, loving your work Tommy. Not done the reverse sear, but will definitely give it a go. Cheers
Thanks 👍
I love a great medium-rare burger grilled over charcoal, but I do like the simplicity of a smash burger too. 🤔😊
Its a tough one.
Cheers Tommy. I will go with all three of those burgers 🍔 🍔🍔. I love hamburgers and l have done them all three ways and definitely will eat them and enjoy them all. They all have a different flavor and they are delicious. Have a great weekend Tommy.
Heck yeah.
nice, got the Rolex out. Sure. Dirty fingers, dude, thats how barbeque works. Everyone knows its a part of open flame grilling. Keep up and on. The MasterBuilt would kill here also.
Thanks brother.
Tommy great share and I would have any of these and be happy! Thanks my friend! Chef John & Rebecca
Great "play-by-play" commentary Tommy! - lol
There are "so many" variables here that it would be very difficult to judge at best.
You did a great job! Results could be very subjective, but thanks a ton for doing this experiment! - Cheers!
Well said!
Smoked, smashed and then kettle for me Tommy! They all looked🔥, great job keeping up with the cook🤣. Always a awesome job! Cheers brother 🍻
agreed.
Great looking burgers. Cheers, Tommy! 👍🏻👍🏻✌️
Thanks-
Great comparison! I rotate all 3 methods as all are unique in their own way. I'm looking to get a perforated cast iron pan to do smash burgers over an open flame. Perhaps the best of both worlds, we'll see
dang it, now I need to cook a smash burger for lunch! You got me drooling!
lol.... Enjoy!
All 3 looked delicious!
So good!
I gotta say, for me it's always gonna be the smash burger because of ease of cooking plus I love smashing them onions into it. Although you do get more smoke flavors with the pellet. Hats off on this video, for running all three at once and timing them right. I always enjoy your videos keep up the great work. Your recipes always come out great when I make them.
Thanks-. This was a fun cook for sure-
Hey Tommy, great shoot out, i’ve been really enjoying the Smashburger for it’s ease of cooking and its consistency, but I agree a thick juicy burger cooked to perfection is reallyb hard to beat. I haven’t done reverse sear burger yet steak of course so I’ll have to give that a try. Hopefully we’ve turned a corner with the heat bring on the fall and how about my lions went into arrowhead and came out with a win. Told you they were gonna be good this year. They’re definitely for real. Have a great one.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍
Lions. lol see me in February. lol
All them burgers looked great. I'd be a winner if I was serving any of them to friends or family. Thanks Tommy!
heck yeah
They all look good, but I'd agree the Weber one was a bit overcooked. Only other issue is you're using that fake plastic cheese... 🤣
😂😂😂
The smoked reverse sear is my favorite but I make smash burgers 9 times out of 10. Getting done in 5 minutes including griddle heat up time just trumps all.
That my friend is true!
Try smashing the burgers before you cook them and then grill hot and fast. You won't be disappointed!
Wouldn't that be a burger.
Thanks for the 3 different burgers…….i have never had a pellet grill . I am going to try my smoke tube on my Halo 4B griddle and see how it works? Theres a good video for you to try a regular burger and smash burger with a smoke tube!
I love adding that extra smoke.
Just curious if the end results would change had the kettle burger been cooked to your liking? As much as I love the charcoal style and pub style burgers, I'd take an Oklahoma onion smash burger any day of the week.
that could very well be the case.
"How do you want your burger cooked?"
Me: "Yes"
lol #Facts
Wait a minute, a burger for later, whats the the goto way to re-heat a burger? Mmm
foil, stove.
Tommy- all three look excellent. I love my Masterbuilt but for me, nothing beats that Weber Kettle for doing up burgers right. Any thoughts of Halo vs CC Woodwind pro? I'm hoping to add a pellet grill to my collection. More great content- #1 grilling channel on TH-cam
Thats a cool thing to say. I love this Halo and have never used the woodwind. That said. Im not buying all that smoke hype that influencers are pushing.
Smash, smoked, charcoal in that order
Aint nothing wrong with that
I'll take one of each! lolololol
Good call.
