I just put mufflers back on mine lol loved it straight piped but it gets old on a 800mile night get home and lay down and still hear the drone of the exhaust
I have a 1600 RPMs pop in the tell pipe sound like a misfire. Just had a new injector put in. At idle 180 to 200 temperature going down the road temp goes to 100°
What a sound Shawn! I'd love it if you could do some super long driving videos of it out on the road! What year is the truck, and what's the transmission? Please let me know ASAP.
Hey bud good job with that. Question? When you put in the flex pipe did you have to cut it? My flex pipe piece that I want to install is between the 12 and 18 inch intervals that I see.
They are very reliable. Rebuild, depending on if your are going to do it is around $2500 without a new head. Biggest things to look out for on the engines are the injectors and fuel shut off solenoid.

It’s a 99 with a 98 engine. 10 speed pre emissions
@@truckerstyleshawn very nice! Will there be long driving videos coming?
I might be able to do that. I don’t normally do much driving footage but I can squeeze a few clips in
@@truckerstyleshawn yes please do, that would be awesome!
I didn't know Josh Barnett worked on diesel trucks
I will take that as a compliment! That guy is a beast in the ring.

Yes I cut mine. A cutoff wheel works perfectly
@@truckerstyleshawn cool thanks man.
Heyyy Shawn ..Bro awesome video... thanks for making this🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽... I have a question, what is the Part number for the Clamp you used?? Thanks 🙏🏽
The clamps where just 5” exhaust band clamps
Going to check out a 1999 FLD with m11, 400k miles original. How reliable are they? When would an overhaul be at my door? Thanks!!’

Hey Shawn where would you order a rebuild kit for these m11’s? Straight from Cummins? Or other you suggest?
That would depend on your budget and who is doing the rebuild. Genuine Cummins is best though
@@truckerstyleshawn you the man! Appreciate you taking your time to reply! Where else could I follow you? On Facebook?
