That's brilliant. Unfortunately the weight of your floating stainless thingy, together with the hefty of the rest of the watch meant there was a huge impulse when mine fell off my wrist and landed on a rock. The watch glass is unscathed, also brilliant But the second hand fell off inside the case and is rattling around and fouling the movement How do I get inside the front?
Question: how do you set the torque on such a small hex bolt? Specialist tool? Are the torque values available for people who want to service their own watches?
This is a fabulous idea. Just a shame all that technology has gone into a movement that wobbles like Santa’s belly. I regret not buying the automatic instead of the quart’s on my professional
I have 3 EB's. 2 LTD edition quartz Canfords and a LTD edition automatic holton professional. While I like the sweeping hand of the auto, as it's not a certified chronometer, I find I have to adjust it every few days.
Thank you for producing this video it was very interesting and informative.

Is this the same with the mechanical version? Knowing the components are alot more sensitive
waiting for my Holton to be engraved ex royal navy needs a tough watch, and this is the best

quartz
What's wrong with the movement itself? I thought quartz was supposed to be more durable and shock resistant to automatic anyway
Yeah, the quartz one is stronger and more reliable, while automatic is cooler
