I don't think golfers need the help of a psychologist. If youtubers like golfsidekick and notascratch golfer can figure it out a pro like Rick should be able to as well. Each golf shot is a new chance to hit your best shot ever. The shot you messed up is a past moment in time, nothing you can do about it now.
Props to James on this video. Nothing more awkward on the course than partnering with someone on an off day not playing well. Big fan of all the break 75 series, hopefully the next round starts a little better

Rick, the only thing good about seeing you struggle is it helps the rest of us normal (bad) golfers realize bad shots are part of our game and we just need to play through them. Watching someone with your skills play bad isn’t funny as much as a reminder to enjoy golf, because we will all hit bad shots.

I do the same thing if I play two days in a row. I don't hook my drives but my back is a bit tight so my hands turn before my body. End up smashing dead straight drives miiiiles left. Always a great watch with you two. Thank you for doing the hard yards, going to Turkey to play golf in the sun so we can stay at home and watch.
Tour pros continue to amaze me. James was struggling in this round yet was still around even par, granted it not being a super difficult course, but still remarkable his "c" game is still around even
Rick you got advice from James on tee shots,Bryson on approach shots,Dan on chipping and Brad on putting.I think you need a coach on the mental part of the game. You have the talent to break 72 a majority of the time.Keep up the great videos!
Hey Rick think you did well mate, a thing i noticed is that on the tee shots your shoulder line seemed more left of the fairway or target than usual which may be why you felt like might slice it a times. I feel like that shoulder line from address was abit left than usual which may be why your shots were starting off left. Hope it helps mate!
This is a great example of many of us amateurs is having a really bad start, but then focusing to take one whole at a time and turn it around. That’s why I love Rick’s videos. He shows it like it really is on the golf course. Keep up the great work Rick. Thank you.
Honestly Rick Your Problem is YOU not your game, You are a brilliant player and coach and know the game back to front and upside down. You are a joy to watch and i watch nearly all your brilliant video's. I used to play off 3 tenyears ago when I was asst at Littlehampton, then didn't play for 10 years!! I have got the bug back at 57 lol! I'm not aggressive or competitive any more and play of 9 !! I would love to caddy for you and get your head back where it should be... You are a class act and a great player, Very popular, so get your Head up don't put yourself under pressure and just play your own game... and enjoy It. All the very best mate. Nik Bird.
Got to say Rick, it's really refreshing watching someone as good at golf as you are, going through the same emotions on the course as I do every single round, keep up the good work pal.
Lesson for the video: Temper your expectations. This goes for the overall score and the yardages with the clubs. If you know that you hit that yardage with a PERFECT strike as HARD as you can hit it... just take another club and hit it comfortably. Always know whether front or back has the danger and play to that. When you aren't amazing (pro level), all you can do is play to your faults. So temper those expectations and strive to be better. We are all fallible humans.
Rick, Break 75 is ruining your golf game at times. You pile a shed load of pressure on yourself from the get go and it’s so hard to watch you capitulate. You’re a top golfer, a little more confidence in your own game wouldn’t go a miss at the moment. You’re putting the hours in, you’re grafting, just go with the flow and ease up on setting yourself a set figure target. A double on the 1st isn’t the end of the world, but in your head you’re already thinking “I can’t drop any more shots”. Go easy on yourself, enjoy your surroundings and enjoy the game without thinking to hard about it. Love the content by the way, top notch as always.
You brought back great memories. Played this golf course last year with our club pro who put in a similar round to James. One of the best golf courses I ever played and it doesn't cost a fortune to play.
Rick, I don't think you have any idea how much a round like this helps.us high HC. It reminds us that golf is bloody hard. Thanks for the entertainment. Loved this one today. Cheers buddy.
Rick, I have to say thank you for playing my class of golf, coming down (or up) to my level. In all seriousness, you're a gentleman, taking it as it comes. Onwards to breaking 75, it will come soon!
James is just awesome to watch, he’s so young to ricks yang. He keeps him calm and you really get to see someone play the game at an almost unreachable standard. It’s awesome
So many options out there - I bought a mate a golf psychology e-book for christmas once, he was stuck on +5 handicap and hadnt budged for years. Read this book, practised what it said and was down to scratch within 12 months - Once that ball has left your club face there is nothing you can do - forget it - Start thinking positive thoughts about the next shot!
Yup. His attitude is a larger problem then his swing or game. I think we all do it. But once you get in your head or get too down on yourself, then you are finished.
As frustrated as Rick was after the front nine, and he made it clear he was frustrated, I appreciate that this kind of content is in here. He didn't start the round over, and start filming again so he can make it seem like he's a great golfer. He is genuine on his channel and shows us exactly what happens, good or bad, and I for one, appreciate that kind of content. That's what makes me continue being a subscriber and continue watching his content.
Buddyyyyy! I remember not too long ago you said you gotta stop being so negative on yourself, it hurts to see you so down. For a beginner like me who’s only played on a course once, you play beautiful golf! If you can’t win, enjoy yourself and the beautiful location. I don’t know much about golf but I figure you could benefit from instead of muscling every shot, pace yourself and control your game. There’s always next break-75 ❤️
The more I watch Rick and these break 75 the better I feel trying to break 95 lol but also someone who plays with people who are always negative about play rather then just playing the game really changes the feel of play
Me too, breaking 95 is a great day for me too, I call this a religious round, lots of sightings of JC, and omg, but not in a good way. Never mind, the next round will feel better.
I love at 28:50 where Robbo says "You've got to see a shot first..." How often have any of us, especially in the midst of a frustrating round/hole just walked up and either seen all the things that can go wrong in our heads or just not really thought about what our actual desired outcome is...
I am a big fan of Rick’s videos, so I know that they are fantastic and I love how honest Rick is when he is playing badly. There is no sugar coating it.
Hey Rick, tough round it happens partner. Try and stay positive and trust in your abilities to shoot a good shot. One shot at a time and if you miss a shot that's okay just move on to the next one. I suggest to listen to the audio book (Golf is not a perfect game) it might help you with you mental abilities when it comes to the game of golf. Awesome video
On the chip vs. putt question, I've noticed that when I am chipping the ball, I'm almost always thinking about making it. When I'm lag putting, I'm just trying to avoid taking more than three putts. I'll always choose to chip because my worst chip is still better than even an above-average putt for me
Ever since Rick did the video with Dan Grieve on chipping I've seen the light. Never in my 11 years of golf do I feel like I can stop my chips next to the hole more than a putt than now. I totally feel you
I’m playing a tough, tight course tomorrow, that calls for a draw to score well. I would take a 75, or better for sure. Or…. Battle my way to a 79. I’ve never shot under par at this course, and I definitely don’t expect to tomorrow, in winter-like conditions. However… You’ve given me some inspiration, Rick, to fight for every shot, no matter how things are going. I truly appreciate the realism, and honesty of posting a below average round. Golf is hard, my friend.
Rick, you sounded tired from the very first word spoken. We all try to push ourselves and with some rest, there most definitely would have been a better result. You continue to honestly share the "way it is", there is always good and bad and we just have to make the most of every situation whatever the struggle. Fight on as always. Thanks!
@@martingdavies na, his mindset is easily the worst part of his game. Once he starts talking about "confidence" and "putting that hole behind me" you know hes done. Never seen a pro fall apart in the head as easy as Rick does.
Saw you filming with Tommy at JGE on Wednesday. I’m a member and can’t wait to see that match. Sorry for the lack of confidence but I think there is no way you beat him with 10 shots. Off the back tees you’d have done well to break 80 and he will be -4/-5
I'm 62, played golf for quite a while and still struggle to break 100 but I enjoy the day out. A few years back I wasn't enjoying it at all. I was huffing and moaning like Rick and realised I was making the round miserable for my playing partner so I went for lessons. Like a lot of people i'm sure, in the studio i'm a completely different golfer which just confirms what we all know, golf is as much mental as physical. The coach got me to keep a simple diary and pick out one positive from each hole. It didn't improve my golf dramatically but it made a world of difference to my attitude and enjoyment and I'm sure my playing partner was grateful 😂
Was paying attention to Ricks driving distance which seemed to be around 250-260 yards as opposed to the 280-285 carry he shows off his launch monitor.
Most people also judge their distance by their 2nd shot in. Good Good does it a lot. 400 yard dog leg par for, and they have a 60 yard chip shot in and claim a "340yd" drive. Not exactly how it works. Unless it's straight down.
Happens to the best of us. There’s always that one day that is so hard that you don’t know what’s going on and feels like the wheels are coming off. But, for you to stick it out and still shoot 79 is commendable! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 well done. On those days I shoot 115 and my best days I shoot 95! Keep going.
I always start strong then finish weak. Especially when I hit a few warm up shots at the range, chipping green, then putting green. If golf was a 9 hole game, i would be near scratch. The back 9 I become a bogey golfer. Anyone else relate to that?
I honestly am so excited for the RS merch! I’ve been following Rick since I started my golfing journey in 2020. The videos are amazing and inspire me to get out on the course and keep my head down and grind on the beautiful game we call golf! Thank you Rick.
I've noticed I speak as poorly about myself as Rick does about himself. It's really annoying and makes it almost unbearable to watch. I will no longer do this, because I would hate to play with someone this constantly negative.
Literally mate. I’m watching this on my tv but Iv just come onto the phone app to comment. So f**king negative, unwatchable. He’ll loose views because of this. He averages about 10 handicap at best and plays to that most of the time. The moment he accepts it, the better he’ll get. It’s a mind game just as much as a skill game and the mind is letting him down!!!!
This is honestly so true. I got to 6 minutes in and the constant sighs and negative attitude just makes me close his videos. I don’t care if ricks playing badly. Just can’t deal with the vibe.
Rick talking about making birdies when he cant make a par 😂 Come on rick, these first 6 holes have been really hard to watch with the moaning! Have to feel for robbo when he started so well.
Having watched many of your videos one absolute standout are your well formed ear lobes😂🤣🤣😁 On the golf - when I find myself not scoring well I tell myself I have two choices. I can finish within score and no swing, or leave the course with no score but a swing that I can build on next time out. Take an extra club and focus on balance and rhythm. Keep working those lessons Rick - quieten the hands and you're not far off.
Don't quit before I can make a video with you please man. Lol.... In all seriousness, you helped me a lot brother. I have reached out a few times and let you know that you've been like the coach i've never met because I only used your videos to learn fundamentals, and it helped me tremendously. After only 1 year I am shooting in the high 80's/low 90's consistently, and just recently shot a 41 for my 9 hole PB. So... for real, don't quit until I can make a video with you at least! Thanks for the work!
Probably never seen a pro with so little ability to work through difficult moments on the golf course. Honestly getting hard to watch. A man with such a charmed life yet such a poor attitude on the course. So much I could say here, but think unsub is the only thing I can do
Most recreational golfers have no idea how many reps it actually takes to build the muscle memory needed to hit perfect shots every time. Even with much practice, unusual course conditions or difficult lies can still result in errant shots. Some of the best touring pros hit bad shots occasionally.
Mad props to you Rick for posting the poor rounds as well as the good ones. I'm getting ready to start streaming rounds on my newish site and my biggest nightmare is what to do if I play a really bad round. It takes a lot of character to still put up the round. Good job.
This was awesome to watch, what a beautiful course and we care about you Rick and just have fun watching you it’s about who you are , not so much how you play. Everyone has off days of course and you’ve been playing some exceptional golf the last while so it will all come back and get better very soon. Nothing to worry about just keep pressing on
@@wrenc7738 I think it was on the back nine when he got two birdies in a row. Before the birdies he said he was about to quit and just say, "Like and subscribe everyone, goodbye." lol
Anyone else notice that Rick is at least a club short on almost every shot? That second hole he hit his drive 250, leaving him 310 yds away. He wanted to have 100 yds left so he was asking his 5 iron to go 210. It went 175. He hit a pitching wedge from 135 also a club short. There’s a big difference between simulator yardage and actual yardage.
I actually felt sorry for James after watching that after all that cry arsing he had to listen to for 18 holes , the groaning , whinging and constant excuses was hard to watch let alone play next to
Rick, I can so sympathise with you. I h8 those days when it goes pear shaped and whatever you do to get it back, you just cant. Lovely to watch James swing again. Well done sticking to it for the full round. Some Birdie Sauce is always a good thing.
I enjoy your videos Rick! You’re a good golfer man! Dont show any body language when you shoot a bad shot. It’s okay to get frustrated about a bad shot but it’s unprofessional to show that negative emotion. The negativity carry’s onto the next shot and also brings other people down, the quicker you learn how to let it go the better you’ll be!
Tough day; those happen. Would love it if you listed the yardage, course rating, and slope for the courses you play. 79 is a really good score on some tracks and a frustrating day on others (this one didn’t seem as difficult as your and James’ score made it look). Thanks for entertainment, look forward to your posts and are pulling for you.
Those that complain about negativety. He's fully aware he's releasing a video where he's giving "bad vibes". Its relatable to how hard golf can be and a challenge to the confidence. Rick could quite easily edit this stuff out, but relatable content with ups and downs is alot better than a Mr Beast video. Wanting "only good vibes" you quickly become like fans of Man City/PSG and you're favourite movie is The Avengers😂
It’s not the bad play it’s the constant sighing and negative self talk. I don’t mind watching bad golf shots, it’s relatable. I wouldn’t even mind to see Rick get angry and express feeling lost in his golf game. We are fans of his and are here no matter how he plays it’s just the way he’s carried himself the last few videos that make it hard to watch. Loudly sighing and calling yourself an idiot repeatedly while playing beautiful courses is just off-putting. Bad play happens just move on and try to improve.
@@BradleyC16 I don't know about you but I curse to myself when I'm playing bad. Difference is I'm not presenting a YT video. The dude can't be silent, and he can't fake being cheerful. Add to that you have 3million viewers to judge.... I get what you're saying, it would be easier to see someone shrug it off, but it wouldn't be real
Said it before, will say it again, Robbo has the best demeanour! He seems like an absolute legend. And Rick, can’t speak for anyone else, but for me, I don’t mind you playing ‘bad’ golf, it makes it exciting!! When everyone is always hitting great numbers it gets boring. Can totally understand why you yourself are frustrated and want to play good golf because you know what you’re capable of, but for the viewing, these videos are still GREAT!
50 minutes of listening to Rick Shields complain about every shot he hit and the boring repetitive sighs. “Don’t know what’s happening today”, “Been playing well up to today”, can’t understand what’s going wrong today ”, “can’t see a straight ball today”. How tedious!!! Like listening to every average club golfer in the country make excuses after every game. Here’s a eye opener Rick, ITS NOT JUST TODAY! Maybe it’s because your style and technique are not particularly nice and the only consistently impressive thing about your game is your putting. I would have turned it off after 10 minutes, if it wasn’t for James Robinson, who is always good value to watch on this channel.
Honestly it’s starting to get boring. Throwing the club after poor drives, whining non stop, making excuse and always bringing the vibe down. I wouldn’t mind if he was humble and accepted that he’s not a scratch player but he acts like he’s consistently shooting low scores..
I've had those bad-driver days. They don't happen often, and my second-to-last round was about half messed up driver shots... One day, it was so consistently bad that by the time I was teeing off the sixth hole, I just left my driver in the bag for the rest of the round and used my 5wood instead. I don't hit 5w anywhere near as long as my driver, but the way I was playing that day? Much better results with it...
Rick - couldn't watch this. Turned it off at 30 minutes. You hit a great putt to 5 feet and acted like it was behind you. Get with Scott Fawcett and work on the mentality. You will NEVER score poorly, even hitting it like this. Get off the damn complain train and listen to your playing partner. If you can obtain half of James' mentality, you'll break 75 every time.
I know he has to talk to the camera but man Rick.. You got to work on that attitude and mind set. You are a great damn golfer! And an awesome person. You play your best when you are enjoying yourself. I know I am just some internet stranger but I think you can save more stroked by working on your attitude then your game. You are 3 holes and and using a past tense when saying you were really looking forward to playing this course. LETS GO BUDDY! Cant wait to watch the rest of this video and many more to come.
Watching your touch around the green reminds me of my game around 10 years ago. The ‘yips’ started with chipping, moved to my putting and the pretty much all of my game. I was a 3 handicap but gave up golf around 8 years ago. It was just not enjoyable anymore. Hopefully you can turn it around.
Hey Rick, just a quick one, love the videos obviously, but you say "I know some people like to see me play bad", but genuinely don't know anyone who feels like that. All the people I know wish you well and want to see you play your absolute best. Anyone who doesn't isn't worth your time. Play well dude, we're all rooting for you 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻
I have played the course so many times and will be there again in December. I know how difficult it can be to play, but you can create a lot of opportunities. The place now looks sensational
You wanted to QUIT golf? Look - I like your channel and have for a while. But you are super privilidged. You get to roam the world playing golf, your entire day is taken up with golf, you get to live golf. And you have a good game, great equipment, fun friends, rich environments and people who love you. So maybe tone down the whining while some of us have to go to work in the middle of an unplayable winter where we can barely even look at our clubs let alone play outdoors. Just keep playing, laugh it up, and let us enjoy it through you and just stop with the whinging about your game. its the least attractive part of your channel - and everything else is pretty fun.
I agree but I don't think Rick is unaware how lucky he is, i think he maybe suffers from a bit of imposter syndrome feeling like he needs to be playing at an elite level all the time because he's the most popular golf TH-camr and one of the most famous people in the game at the moment. Golf is hard enough without having to think about how hundreds of thousands of people will be watching every swing you make. Even the luckiest people in the world go through tough times mentally.
@@tpw13 he regularly goes for 75 and has the ability to do it. His game is fine. But given ALL he has - he should shed this "i deserve to be better" attitude. Be the ambassador that he is, be our eyes and ears - thats what Im looking for. I'm trying to push for 80 and I only get 6 months and maybe 2 days a week to do that, hes fortunate - the whining is unecessary.
The constant “ahhhhh” every time you miss on a miss hit or after a bad chip or putt. Video after video. It’s frustrating as a viewer. Stay silent, and try to take a deep breath instead please. Love your stuff, keep the great golf coming.
If you didn't hear Rick and James say their scores on each hole, you might've thought they both shot a 120. Good reminder that we're all hard on ourselves no matter what level and working through that is part of the game we love.

Also have respect for your. Playing partners
Top comment mate.
I’m 10 mins in and the depressive vibe from Rick is killing the video lol my loyalty will make me stay till the end
i had to turn off a few times i think he was hanging
You brought back great memories. Played this golf course last year with our club pro who put in a similar round to James. One of the best golf courses I ever played and it doesn't cost a fortune to play.
Rick, I don't think you have any idea how much a round like this helps.us high HC. It reminds us that golf is bloody hard. Thanks for the entertainment. Loved this one today. Cheers buddy.
Rick, I have to say thank you for playing my class of golf, coming down (or up) to my level. In all seriousness, you're a gentleman, taking it as it comes. Onwards to breaking 75, it will come soon!
Watching a bloke play golf in Turkey at these beautiful courses and complaining the whole round 😂
James is just awesome to watch, he’s so young to ricks yang. He keeps him calm and you really get to see someone play the game at an almost unreachable standard. It’s awesome
Yessss , seeing Rick on the first hole scream his chip shot across the green like ive done 1000X’s makes me feel better for some reason ..
You started almost identical to how id start and not be upset 😜
So many options out there - I bought a mate a golf psychology e-book for christmas once, he was stuck on +5 handicap and hadnt budged for years. Read this book, practised what it said and was down to scratch within 12 months - Once that ball has left your club face there is nothing you can do - forget it - Start thinking positive thoughts about the next shot!
Rick was right on 18 😂 He dragged Robbo down.
Yup. His attitude is a larger problem then his swing or game. I think we all do it. But once you get in your head or get too down on yourself, then you are finished.
And dragged the rest of us with him with that title… :/
As frustrated as Rick was after the front nine, and he made it clear he was frustrated, I appreciate that this kind of content is in here. He didn't start the round over, and start filming again so he can make it seem like he's a great golfer. He is genuine on his channel and shows us exactly what happens, good or bad, and I for one, appreciate that kind of content. That's what makes me continue being a subscriber and continue watching his content.
If i was James I would have played the back 9 by myself.
100%
A fantastic video Rick and James. I love watching you two play together ❤❤
It's a 50 minute video , how do you know hahaha
I am a big fan of Rick’s videos, so I know that they are fantastic and I love how honest Rick is when he is playing badly. There is no sugar coating it.
@@mattshed5977 It seem they get people to make TH-cam accounts to froth over them in the comments and boost their algorithm..
Tubes brings in The Bulldog, Rick brings in Robbo - YT Golf is alive and well people
Is playing mates whilst advertising a holiday the way forward for golf, wow!
I totally feel you
Just at the clubhouse having a beer after a crap round. Hoping this will cheer me up when I get home haha
Winter golf for you mate🤣
I’m playing a tough, tight course tomorrow, that calls for a draw to score well. I would take a 75, or better for sure. Or…. Battle my way to a 79. I’ve never shot under par at this course, and I definitely don’t expect to tomorrow, in winter-like conditions. However… You’ve given me some inspiration, Rick, to fight for every shot, no matter how things are going. I truly appreciate the realism, and honesty of posting a below average round. Golf is hard, my friend.
I'm a little confused on "happened" to make you not want to quit golf?
Agreed, what was “THIS”? I was expecting a hole-in-one or something. Click bait.
Rick, you sounded tired from the very first word spoken. We all try to push ourselves and with some rest, there most definitely would have been a better result. You continue to honestly share the "way it is", there is always good and bad and we just have to make the most of every situation whatever the struggle. Fight on as always. Thanks!
Rick’s negativity is his biggest enemy
He was beaten after 2 holes
His technique is his biggest enemy.
@@martingdavies na, his mindset is easily the worst part of his game. Once he starts talking about "confidence" and "putting that hole behind me" you know hes done. Never seen a pro fall apart in the head as easy as Rick does.
For a guy who makes his living off of golf, it’s absurd.
He's going through a swing change and it's going to take time.@@nathjohn3158
Saw you filming with Tommy at JGE on Wednesday. I’m a member and can’t wait to see that match. Sorry for the lack of confidence but I think there is no way you beat him with 10 shots. Off the back tees you’d have done well to break 80 and he will be -4/-5
Never seen a human smile as much as James does!
Colder conditions at literal sea level will change those numbers for you, too
Most people also judge their distance by their 2nd shot in.
Keep going.
The start to Ricks round is so relatable to 95% of golfers.
Yep - the club throwing gets dull quick - he wasn’t even playing that badly - 2 holes in “gonna shoot a million- you will with that attitude
Facts
That's great that this video motivated you to change. I will do the same. My new personna will be smooth and relaxed like Fred Couples.
Rick talking about making birdies when he cant make a par 😂
Come on rick, these first 6 holes have been really hard to watch with the moaning! Have to feel for robbo when he started so well.
Having watched many of your videos one absolute standout are your well formed ear lobes😂🤣🤣😁
On the golf - when I find myself not scoring well I tell myself I have two choices. I can finish within score and no swing, or leave the course with no score but a swing that I can build on next time out. Take an extra club and focus on balance and rhythm. Keep working those lessons Rick - quieten the hands and you're not far off.
What was the "This Happened? Even back 9?
So much I could say here, but think unsub is the only thing I can do
Golf can be annoying Rick tells it like it is
Most recreational golfers have no idea how many reps it actually takes to build the muscle memory needed to hit perfect shots every time. Even with much practice, unusual course conditions or difficult lies can still result in errant shots. Some of the best touring pros hit bad shots occasionally.
It’s hard to watch Rick’s mental game when he doesn’t play as well as he’d like he’s got a inner caddy that needs to be fired
Hey we don't need him to be as boring as most golfers
Mad props to you Rick for posting the poor rounds as well as the good ones. I'm getting ready to start streaming rounds on my newish site and my biggest nightmare is what to do if I play a really bad round. It takes a lot of character to still put up the round. Good job.
love this but this is the last one I will watch, too many adverts to make it an enjoyable watch
This was awesome to watch, what a beautiful course and we care about you Rick and just have fun watching you it’s about who you are , not so much how you play. Everyone has off days of course and you’ve been playing some exceptional golf the last while so it will all come back and get better very soon. Nothing to worry about just keep pressing on
Kind of a misleading title. Made it seem like he got a hole in one or an eagle on the back nine.
Robo seems one of the nicest guys you could meet. Love to play golf with him.
Is anyone else still waiting for the "then THIS happened" part?
Yea, I don’t get the title either.
What happened?
I enjoy your videos Rick! You’re a good golfer man! Dont show any body language when you shoot a bad shot. It’s okay to get frustrated about a bad shot but it’s unprofessional to show that negative emotion. The negativity carry’s onto the next shot and also brings other people down, the quicker you learn how to let it go the better you’ll be!
Why on earth so many full grown men put an average TH-camr golfer on such a high pedestal I'll never know
Would absolutely love to see Rick, James and Lee Westwood play break 75, 70 and 65. Life would be made!
Bit of a clickbaity title tbh
TH-cam may not be the place for you then buddy 😂
Tough day; those happen. Would love it if you listed the yardage, course rating, and slope for the courses you play. 79 is a really good score on some tracks and a frustrating day on others (this one didn’t seem as difficult as your and James’ score made it look). Thanks for entertainment, look forward to your posts and are pulling for you.
Erm, spoilers 😂
Would love to see Rick team up with @GolfSidekick and focus on the mental side of the game. Would be a great collab.
Your editors adding "success music" on the failed puts is really irritating.
The game chooses the wizard Mr. Shiels...one doesn't simply QUIT golf! (;
Let's try and break 75 today....double bogey down the 1st soon ensues. A+ for honesty as always
50 minutes of listening to Rick Shields complain about every shot he hit and the boring repetitive sighs.
“Don’t know what’s happening today”,
“Been playing well up to today”, can’t understand what’s going wrong today ”, “can’t see a straight ball today”.
I’m a simple man, I see Break 75 and I click and enjoy 🙏
Watching your touch around the green reminds me of my game around 10 years ago. The ‘yips’ started with chipping, moved to my putting and the pretty much all of my game. I was a 3 handicap but gave up golf around 8 years ago. It was just not enjoyable anymore. Hopefully you can turn it around.
confused what was the THIS happened here?
Hey Rick, just a quick one, love the videos obviously, but you say "I know some people like to see me play bad", but genuinely don't know anyone who feels like that. All the people I know wish you well and want to see you play your absolute best.
Anyone who doesn't isn't worth your time.
Play well dude, we're all rooting for you 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💪🏻
Come on, Rick, pick yourself up! Bad golf is one thing, but a bad attitude Debbie-downer is a turn off. Thank goodness James was on today.
We wanted you to quit also Rick...
If you didn't hear Rick and James say their scores on each hole, you might've thought they both shot a 120. Good reminder that we're all hard on ourselves no matter what level and working through that is part of the game we love.
YOU WANT TO QUIT EVERY WEEK RICK, ITS GETTING BLOODY BORING.
