Ser Pounce debut. He's more honorable compared to Ser Crispin.
He’s the prince that was promised alt shift x has a video about it…
Ser Pounce catches rats. Ser Crispin doesn't. Let that sink in.
@@rodrigovaccari7547 meditate on this, i will
"More honorable than Ser Crispin" isn't a very high bar to clear. lol Also@@rodrigovaccari7547of course Crispin doesn't catch rats - he'd have to start with the man in the mirror.
@@rodrigovaccari7547This is amazing
Thorne hates Snow to no fault is Snow. He fought on the Targaryen side of the war against Robert and Ned. Ned was the one that sent him to the wall after being taken. In the books, Jon looks the most like Ned out of any of the children. Whenever Thorne looks at him, he sees the man that sent him there.
We should remind them to revisit this dynamic by the time the show ends lol😅
It’s really good that the white walker babies has huge significance through the rest of the show
yup so much plot development with them babies
I might be wrong, but I’m fairly certain Cersei and Jaime’s moment of sexual Intercourse was consensual in the books? only it happened after Joffrey’s death, and not beside his warm corpse (Jaime still hadn’t returned by then)
the show-runners just have a distasteful fixation on sexual assault and unnecessary depravity
Honestly. You’d think some cutback on assault scenes would happen but 😓
They claim that their intent wasn’t to depict Jaime as assaulting Cersei in that scene. They really, actually thought it came across as consensual at the time.
@@WillDncn It’s so weird cause you can hear her saying “No, it’s not right”, over and over. And the past development before that with Jaime collided with that scene. It just didn’t make sense at all when you think about them and their love for each other. Still so disgusting on Jaime’s part though
@@WillDncn It's D&D... they honestly come off as fucking weird in general, and I definitely wouldn't trust them on set.
For another example from this episode, they've laughed and made jokes about how they scared/traumatized the baby used in the White Walker scene, and how the mother refused to let them use the baby for any reshoots since she was uncomfortable with Dan Weiss loudly and repeatedly talking in front of her about how they needed to make sure the boy's penis was in the shot so "you saw this was a boy child".
@@Colp2This whole show, although amazing, could have sat a lot better with several workers and audience members if the leadership wasn’t so weird.

"But why couldn't he walk?" I've never seen anyone not understand Olenna's story. 😂
they are too young :D
I think they understood, they're just good Christian boys😇 and didn't wanna think about young Olenna fvcking the dogshit outta that man🤣 as a bit of fun trivia, the casting went CRAZY on this show, and lady Olenna's actress looked JUST like Margaery's in her youth... iirc she was a Bond girl in the 60s or 70s.
@@CASantos Weird start to the comment 😟
Probably because usually the girl says they can’t walk meaning he’s asking if she pegged him
@nyla_n123 how so...?
Joffrey’s death 100% had buildup. From the first episode where he attacked Arya and the butchers boy Micah. All the way to his actual wedding where he continued to abuse Tyrion and mock beloved characters. Every little evil thing he did to make us hate him more and more all to makes his death sweeter. It’s not build up in the traditional sense
Ned died 1 episode after he was imprisoned and Robb started losing in S3, so I have no idea his death was built up for “3 seasons”, yet Joffrey had no build up? Lol
Not really. I think you misunderstood Carter's point
I'm slightly embarrassed at how fast I clicked lol

Don’t be I do the same 😂

👆😂 Agreed!
Sound editing tip: Record a few seconds of silence with everyone quiet. Use this silent audio to cover up words you want to bleep. This keeps the background noise consistent and avoids awkward silence.
Cool little detail: if you watch closely, you can actually watch Olenna removing the stone with the poison from Sansa's neclace during the wedding
Jack must not remember what’s going on cause he literally asked if the babies become white walkers 😂
He didn’t just ask if they did, he flat out said they must. McKay and Jackson are like Ned and Sansa with secrets.
Thorne was a Targaryen Loyalist and when they fell he hated the Houses especially the Starks for there role in ending the Targaryen dynasty and that’s why he hated Jon Snow with a passion sadly they never showed this in the show only in the books
FWIW, part of the pacing catching y'all off guard is that, for the most part, Season 1 = Book 1, Season 2 = Book 2. But Book 3 was so loaded that they mostly broke it up into Seasons 3 & 4. The red wedding was around the midpoint of book 3 (A Storm of Swords), and Joffrey's death was maybe ~3/4ths of the way through. But trying to cram all that into 10 episodes would've been a disaster.
Pod joining Brienne is a start of a crazy journey 😂😂
"War is war, but killing a man at this wedding? Horrid. What sort of a monster would do such a thing?" - Olenna to Sansa at the wedding
Westeros is Seven Kingdoms that were combined into one, whereas Meereen is a city-state. Hope this helps boys
Not to keep spamming histories & lore🤓 but about Baelish's 'new friends' he said "nothing like a thoughtful gift to help a new friendship *Grow Strong*" while it's panning to Olenna & Margaery. What are the Tyrell house words?😇
Bro they just don't pay attention to dialogue. Many reactors do this. It's a little jarring.
Panning to them on its own should have been obvious enough 😄
@@laterrydorsey303 yeah they're actually pretty attentive and smart (Brig needs to stop guessing shit cuz he's lowkey spoiling half the plot without actually knowing 😅), but I noticed it happens a lot in bigger groups, so it's kinda inevitable with 5 guys. They also like talking during the change of scenes, which is how you sometimes miss a lot of stuff.
most of the landscapes from daenerys and kingslanding tropes were filmed in spain and croatia, once i visited and it was so beautiful .
Killer doesn’t mean warrior. Baelish is a killer, but not a warrior.
27:27 both y'all just sittin in silence chewing your lips not to smile 😂
After this episode cannon, it will cook even harder. Greatest episodes in tv history. Nothing can beat that to this day.
Lady Olenna used to be bethroted to Prince Daeron (Aegon V's youngest son), but he broke the pact when he turned 18 and turned his attention to a guy instead, and they both died fighting a rebellion.
1:25 Random X-Files theme🤣
Olenna Tyrell is the GOAT
Did you know that the actor that plays Tommen now, has already died earlier in the show.
The actor also played one of the Lannnister boys that got killed for revenge by Rickard Karstark.
I only noticed that on a rewatch. I find re-using actors like that very strange. What's even crazier: Samantha Bentley played three different prostitutes throughout the series, two of them occurring in the same episode. 🤦♂ With Bentley being a former adult actress, it's safe to say someone on the casting team must have been a big fan.
Tommen is like 14 but this show plays like history. Extremely young people married older people especially for alliances. He's "old enough" to marry and be intimate.
He's something like 8 years old in the books 🙈 Margaery is around Dany's age: 14-15-ish. She honestly comes to visit to play with him. It's still...so weird. Hahaha
Look, I’m a Philip Rivers enjoyer, and I think that dude gets none of the respect he deserves just because of who he has to get compared to.
But! There’s no way it’s not Wilson.
Season 7 still has one of my favorite episodes.
What? season 7 and 8 are dogshit.
@@AstroAvenger that’s your opinion. Spoils of war is still one of the most thrilling tv battles I’ve ever seen. people act like they weren’t hyped as fuck for season 8 after 7 now lol no one had a supremely negative view of the show before season 8 aired. The flaws in 7 are no worse than the flaws in seasons 2-6. They all have “silly” tv moments in terms of character motivation/action. They just become more frequent as the seasons progress.
@@levilevi9621 Speak for yourself, I knew season 7 was garbage the moment I watched it.
Yes! And season 8 has great episodes as well, even though I do not fully agree with how the show ended
Spoils of war has a scene which never fails to give me goosebumps, its when a certain character shows up, won't say who and how cuz of spoilers, but let's just say it's a big moment.
Been searching for content like this! Ready to embark on my life's journey.. -- "Every day is a chance to rewrite your life's script.."
Joffery death was built up since season 1 episode1 😂😂😂
1:08 How was Ned’s death built up the whole season and Robb’s for 3 whole seasons? 😂. Ned was hand of the king but then got imprisoned in episode 8 and then died 1 episode later. Robb was looking great until S3 (minus marrying Talisa). Then he says Joffrey’s death was “kinda built up” but then it happened and was random? Huh 😂😂😂
they just say shit lmao. Just skip the intro lol
I think the reason season 4 has a difference pace is because season 3&4 are 2 parts of the same book (3 being Storm of Swords part one and 4 being Storm of Swords part 2) so the two books/ 2 seasons follow the same set of arcs focused around the War of the Five Kings - making Joffreys sudden death not a typical finale or climatic moment but just another chess move in the various factions
If you love Lost, you'd go crazy over Dark on Netflix. You guys would be theorycrafting every single episode and getting absolutely blown away every time.

Do you mean Locke?
@@toms169 omg that’s right, forgot they changed his name in the show 🙈
Brig is… something else lol
Season six episodes nine and ten are still two of the best episodes of television ever. ❤
Yeah except all the plot holes, episode 10 was just the writers being lazy not knowing what to do with so many characters.
Been fiending for the got uploads 🤣
Joffery death wasn’t really random. The red women and the leeches. Magic in GOT isn’t like BAM as soon as the leech burned the other kings die. It’s more like the leeches and magic helped lead up to their deaths
That's what GoT is cool cause it's like a big candy store with many characters with their own little stories. And yea the comparison with Lost is a good. Back then it was how drama shows were, a long build up for many seasons. Whereas HOTD is more modern where there's a smaller main cast, you get to the point right away and there's even time jumps to age the characters.
Grenn is the name of Pip's freind, the guy whose name you couldn't remember 😮
Pleaseee guy, watching the series Interview with a vampire.
the main actor of this series is played by Jacob Anderson, who played the gray worm warrior.
Re: the discussion at 31:54, not only is it not worth worrying about the quality of the ending this far out, but if it makes you feel better a lot of late reactors to the tv show didn't hate it as much as everyone else. So you guys might be fine with it. I mean don't get me wrong, it's one of the most disappointing things I've ever experienced as far as fictional media. But the people who really hated it were mostly us book readers, as well as like DEDICATED superfans who maybe haven't read the books but are dialed in to the community of asioaf nerds and at least *know* about book stuff, long running theories etc. I think you guys will be fine, so just put it out of your mind for now😊
The disconnect between fans when season 8 released and reactors watching it now is baffling, making me question if I judged it too harshly and was just following the mob. Then I sit down and try watching season 8 and the disappointment comes rushing back, I just can't.
@AstroAvenger not to sound like a snob, but I think a lot of late reactors aren't as attentive/aware of the details on a lot of stuff re: the characters and their motivations, themes, etc. It's not an intelligence thing, more so just the nature of binging something in a few weeks vs. sitting with it and engaging with others over the course of a few years.
So things like characters suddenly acting out of character/against the core values they had in earlier seasons, or things that felt like they were building up to a certain conclusion falling by the wayside don't get picked up as easily. It's also hard, given the fantasy setting with dense worldbuilding, to just learn the houses and settings.
Those of us who were watching the entire time probably had time to watch and rewatch earlier seasons and iconic scenes, so it was more blaring when certain aspects (dialogue for me, clean & concise plot threads, and big events/deaths having meaning vs. shock value or "subverting expectations" for the sake of it).
But alas, for a lot of people, GoT was "the crazy dragon show where anyone can die and you also see boobs sometimes," so for them, the ending was more than sufficient 🙃
I think a good portion of the disappointment stems from the wait. Some people watched for ten years. Even if you only waited that last two years, what we waited for was a let down. Getting to watch without waiting eases that stuff at least.
@TukaihaHithlec Good point! I forgot that iirc it was either a 2-year wait between season 7 & 8, or like a year and a half, when in prior years we got a 10-episode season every year, and then all of a sudden it took them longer to make much shorter seasons (which again, for many, had a decline in quality as well).
@@TukaihaHithlec this is a good point. A decade of amazing stuff only to fizzle out like it did.
Baelish isn't trying to raise up Sansa, he wants her to raise him up, literally and metaphorically :P
says he's not impatient and then proceeds to say that he wishes he has seen more stuff, in the most busy show any of us have ever watched while he is only halfway through it... lol I got news for you brother you are impatient
Being impatient. Not fully grasping what is going on. Talking over lots of dialogue. Forgetting lots of details. Not being interested enough to educate themselves on the lore. Being mostly intrigued by shock-value moments and badass character moments, but not so much by the depth of the world and the bittersweet beautiful tragedy of each character's journey. I don't really blame these guys, they are just average blokes enjoying good television. But I do believe once people like them became the majority of the Game of Thrones audience, the showrunners felt the need to dumb down the story. And it worked, most people loved the later seasons and had no issues with all the dumb shit that was being introduced. It was only when the showrunners took it too far in the final season that finally people objected to it. Too late...
@@toms169facts
@@toms169 this is the unfortunate truth. I just hope they dont repeat it with HOTD
Drogo got taken pretty quick. A lot of characters get snipped unexpectedly, just like life.

Indeed !!
So just for some clarification the babies that are given to the Walkers are turned into the generals you see with the ice spears and horses. Regular people who die can just be resurrected as basically zombies
The former are the White Walkers, the latter the Wights.
@toms169 ahhhh thank you for fixing that for me I knew I had it mixed up
You guys are adorable 😂
okay, season 8 is not AS BAD as people say it is. It is just not as good and it feels kinda rushed. But it's not horrible at all, specially the first episodes.
The white walkers storyline is a building up moment tho… “winter is coming “…. They can’t give it to you from the beginning… you’ll start seeing more of it from now on.
Fun fact.
Tommen’s actor is the same as I think his name was Martin Lannister, the Lannister squire that Lord Karstark killed in season 3 I believe
Natalie Dormer who plays Margery is actually the reason that the scene with tomen was played down. The writers actually wanted something way more sexualized/ explicit and she said she didn't feel comfortable doing the being as the actor is a fricken minor! The writers of this show were kinda sketch
D&D always want something more sexualized/explicit. It def wasn't from the books, since Tommen is something like 8 years old...
Daenerys letting the intrusive thoughts win on this episode
jack being so dumb that his questions become spoilers is becoming unbearable!
he's almost ruinous to the entire experience
Yeah, D&D liked adding random, not needed r@pe scenes throughout. Most egregious of these was Khal Drogo and Danny’s first time. Did NOT happen in the book!
You guys gotta watch dune 1 and 2.
And for the anime channel, Hathaway
Next episode we see White Walker Daycare
The Tommen actor was like 16 and Natalie Dormor was like 31 lol. We got some Firecracker action goin on.

PHILLIP RIVERS OVER RUSS IS ACTUAL INSANITY
This season is wow
Should be called Kitchen Gek the way these boys don’t stop cooking 🔥
Phillip Rivers over Russell Wilson is crazy to me lol but I respect it💯
To ease your comfort without spoilers: Season 8 is the weakest of all seasons, but of a show that was stronger than arguably any show. So compared to itself, sure. There are some iffy things towards the end. Compared to other shows, it is still arguably good television. I didnt think it was AS bad as some others pretend, but it's also subjective.
Come on dudes, that guy is a snake, he cut off Jaime's hand! There's no forgiving that.
There’s no way I’m taking Philip Rivers over Prime Wilson
You guys asked how they know when the babies are born. I'm not sure, but it's possible that the night king has his own worgs.
I'm just so curious is your birth name actually Canon? Cause that's lit

The random stuff that is said, can't say what, but some is true .. LOL
she was young too what do you mean? back then that didn’t matter. things were the way they were. i love jon and theon.
I have a theory: the Night King is the Last Hero. The Last Hero set out with 12 companions and in the shot near the end , we see 12 White Walkers with the Night King in the centre. Read up information on the story of the Last Hero. I could be very wrong or onto something
I think a lot of the old legends and tales from all of the various lands of Westeros and Essos are going to connect. I'm still devastated they cancelled Bloodmoon. I'd so much rather be watching a show about the Age of Heroes and original Long Night than the Dance.
Justice and vengeance are a thin line … Dany doesn’t get the concept of mercy yet
What do you mean? In the show & the books she’s liberated the slaves that would become her Khalasar, she freed the slaves that would have become Drogo’s slaves in the first book. She literally liberated two infamous slavers’ cities, but I see, the male characters are free to operate in a Medieval setting exercising such authority & cruelty but it’s different and cruel when a woman does it. George RR Martin wrote Daenerys & Cersei as women who have to use the same tools as men in achieving Power but notice how they’re the ones being called mad & insane (in both the text & the fandom). You’re falling into his trap set that women have to play using different rules which is nonsensical and foolish especially in a Medieval setting where violence is what accomplishes most things. Media literacy is cratering around shows and it’s themes and characters smh
@@Fallen616 its unfortunate that the fandom is so blind to exactly what George calls out happening in Westeros. And he does it OVER and OVER.
Little Sam is the Prince that is Promised.
I mean...he's the only one of Craster's sons who wasn't taken by the White Walkers...
@@jcompton8507 I thought it all out lol. Mainly based on the show, up to around season 6ish. Craster backstory comes from the book though... he's half wildling, half something else... I think his father was a royal who joined the watch.
Remember how Craster kept saying "I'm a godly man!" went around like people owed him something? He was saving the world, doing what he was doing.
Now you might think, why did the walkers start killing people long before little sam was even born? They can see the future, "blue seers" instead of being like Bran, a green seer who sees the past.
Remember when Sam was stuck in the open alone, and that White Walker on a pale horse came up with all those undead? Everyone was like "omg plot armor"
well, I think the White Walkers saw him before. I think they saw him take little Sam in the future. Once they see something I also assume they have a obligation to follow that future regardless of the outcome. I think though, they didn't have all the information.
I think they saw Sam, and assumed he was a coward and so only 1 walker was sent. And the reason they couldn't see him killing a White in their visions was because the White Tree with the Face has a zone of nullification. Bran can only see the past that is "around" the Trees and the Walkers are excluded from those areas.
Once Sam take Little Sam out of that castle on the other side of the wall, and after they turn Crasters last son. They started marching in full force instead of their little roaming army from before.
In the books Tommen is even younger lmao
LOL it's true that Missandei sounds like a AI voice!

Did we not just watch them try to marry a child to a king in House of the Dragon?
This is what frustrates me so much about the characters they age-up to get certain actors. In the books, Alicent is 18 when she marries 26 year old Viserys. Still a big age difference, but not even completely unacceptable in our world.
