      Haha I find this is a good one for a day at the plot. If I'm just popping over for 20 mins. I'll use my gas one to boil the kettle. Stay tuned for next Sunday (19th march) as I have a new accessory for it. Game changer!

    I have a Frontier Stove in my allotment shed, it is marvellous! Couldn’t do without it. Only trouble is that it slows down your work rate, as you become reluctant to leave the sanctuary of your shed!

      Hahaha! Good point ! It's nice to have one though haha how long have you had one ?

    • @067captain
      @067captain 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I actually bought the stove a decade ago to fit in my tent for canoeing trips to Scotland in the winter. But when I got my allotment shed a few years ago I decided to install it. The frontier comes with the attachment to put it through a tent or shed roof and a flame arrestor on the chimney. You didn’t mention that but be aware sparks will occasionally come out the chimney if you don’t have a flame arrestor. Another plus I have found is that using the stove in the shed through the wet winters keeps the shed dry, and prevents rot. Enjoy your new purchase mate, they are wonderful.

    • @TheGrowUpChannel

    hi Danny! Great little stove! Much better for the environment than canned gas! But placement is important. Keep it away from your window as the heat could crack the glass. Set it on a slab and protect the wood behind and on the side with non combustable material.... .slate or tin! the best part is, you can use the wood ash in the garden!

    • @TheGrowUpChannel
      @TheGrowUpChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Loving the log burner Danny……looks great! 👍🏻……..your flower that you mentioned was a variety of Rudbeckia……I grew some from seed this year. They are in theory a perennial so should come back next year after dying down to nothing. Although sometimes they don’t, and some use them as annuals. I’ll be trying to overwinter mine. I have rudbeckia goldsturm in my home garden and that reliably returns every year and I divide after a couple of years. 💪🏼😁
