- Unfortunately last night during one of my final training sessions before @theworldsstrongestman I ruptured my right distal bicep tendon.
Don’t really have the words right now. Sorry to anyone that was looking forward to watching me compete and to my team that have put in their time and effort.

First Oleksii at Europes and now you, gutted to see any of our strongmen getting injured but to lose 2 before WSM along with Licis and Kieliszkowski is a real blow. Are the weights you guys are expected to lift just as an opening weight one step too far, we shouldn’t be losing so many to injury. Hope your recovery goes well and we see you competing again later in the year. 👍🇬🇧

12 weeks post op here, I have full range of motion and 70% strength back. The worst part is the mental part, when u do curls or rows. No pain whatsoever now.

Shane, I hope you have a great rehab and come back better than before. Do you think this was a case of "shit happens" or do you think there was a technique issue that possibly led to this?
Judging by the medical report and surgeons findings, this tendon was a ticking time bomb. It’s been compromised for over two years and has been an ongoing battle. Surgery will hopefully remedy
That pop made my bollocks retreat up into my stomach!! 🤮 sorry to see that happen to you mate that must feel disgusting. When you talk about peptides and things could you also talk about where you get them? Or is that a no go for youtube? Few niggling inuries myself that i could use help with 💪🏻💪🏻
Speedy recovery Shane ! Had mine right one raptured May 29th 2020, 4 days later i had id fixed with TWO ANCHORS: 1. Arthrex 2. Mitek, to hold up for deadlifts etc. !
If you want x-rays or else i can help. Did the recovery myself, had no one nearby with the correct therapy for bicep tendon. cheers from Austria, Franz
