Miles is freakin' awesome. He flipped that tire like it's going out of style.

I went to school with a kid named Anders who had CP and most of our schooling he had to walk with crutches that braced around his arms. By sophomore year he was in an electric wheelchair. So seeing Miles flipping tires, lifting atlas stones, and bench pressing is absolutely jaw dropping and inspiring to say the least. What a legend!

It's amazing how you can keep coming up with different ways of teaching us.
Funny story... I've been taking notes for years about lifting and health.
After watching your videos, I often go to add a small detail into my note section.
You wouldn't believe how often I read through what I've written and find Brian's tips or qeues.
All I can do is thank you from the bottom of my heart.
You've change my perspective of how I look at exercise and programming.
I consider you one of the GOATs 🐐
    Thank you Brain

Seeing that clip from the 505 bench reminded me of the days that the gym was open. I started watching your channel from the first colab with alan thrall and it was and still is a true gem. The times that you have helped me without even knowing it through your videos are countless as well as the things i ve learned both liftingwise and not. I felt truly sad when the gym closed due to global events and i will never have the chance to stop by for a session or just shake your hand in person my friend. I wish the best to you and i will keep wathcing every single video. NEVERsate 💙💙

Hey brother, the gym is still open, I was training and coaching there last night. It’s just no longer open to the public. All of the old members go there for free now. But since it isn’t staffed, We can’t except visitors or new members.
But don’t be too sad because it is still up and operational as ever

    • @DensityMatrix1

Sled drags, 45 degree raise, reverse hyper and belt squat. No spinal load from any of those. The last two provide traction.
Is it a disc injury or something else.

Hey Brian I'm currently doing the corona bodyweight program and 2 days in the gym, I work long shifts and my Mrs is in the hospital for now so got to workout around that stuff. But I'm hoping to play Rugby again in the new season and I'm going to run the four horseman program to help me get back to proper conditioning and explosiveness. Have you thought of playing any sports other than strongman?

  • @blademontane
    @blademontane 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi Brian, I just wanted to ask if you had any videos on how to minimize lower back rounding in the deadlift? It's something I've had problems with as long as I can remember when I get to 85%+ of my 1rm, And is obviously not ideal. Some people say that I'm not getting tight enough, but when I try that, I just feel weaker and cannot lift as much.

silly idea. if by self have ramped platforms inline with hips so if bail u push and roll barbellup the ramps and on the platforms so u don't have to the weird maneuvre. ps still amazes me no solo option is available that protects the neck decently. or is there? i don't bench haha.

They still show up from time to time but I actually talked about this on the massanomics podcast last night. The world just doesn’t accept jokes the same way that they did five years ago, so I avoid them.
Even when I make them, everyone just says they are dumb dad jokes anyway so I didn’t think I was losing much with how today’s society acts. The jokes are still there in my head. But they often don’t make it to screen
