So this could be an ex from when I was 16 (I'll be 40 this year and he's 49) who was in and out for 3 years due to addiction, so eventually I left and offered my commitment to someone else. We didn't talk for 10 years and we reconnected when I was married and he engaged. I did lose my virginity to him when I was 16.
We have been friends on Facebook now since I was 29 so he's watched me grow and also heal deep trauma. He tried to come back two years ago, but I was dating someone else and my ex is still engaged, so I told him no.
I would talk to him, there are no hard feelings, but I don't see it going anywhere romantic. I just don't think he's what I'm looking for anymore.
